Ok, first of all you misread. I called it your "widely" claimed opinion and not "wildly".
Again, the "wildly" is there to discredit it, no matter if it refers to the "wild opinion" or "claiming it wildly".

You misread again. W i d e l y not w i l d l y
Fair. Not my native language so I automatically read it as "wild" and not "wide".

Just another reminder, Ziz had a thumbnail literally claiming: "Everybody is mad at PoE2". That's misinformation right there.
Only if you take is literally.

"Everybody is mad at PoE2" can refer to many things, like:
- Everybody he knows
- Everybody he is referring to
- Everybody he has seen
and so on.

It's kinda interesting that you take a clickbait title that uses the word "everybody", when he does not claim in the video itself that it's everybody.

Well, considering that there was something like a review bombing, the streamers sharing a lot of words all of a sudden like: "unfun", "vision", "patch 0.2", etc., the fact that there has been a lot of unjustified criticism towards the game that is non-constructive, for example saying it's "trash", reducing the whole game to one word without elaboration or while pointing to those "keywords" like "vision", which seem to me to serve more of a psychological effect than that of logical debate, taken all that into consideration and also how rude (in my opinion) Ziz was during the interview, making it seem as if his opinion was as valuable as that of the devs (to me it seemed that way), it would appear that a simple "mistake" or "misleading phrase" in a thumbnail serving as clickbait could be seen as part of the bigger picture, wouldn't you agree?

I don't think there is any point, really. There is simply this large group of completely blinded fans, who you are apparently a member of, who are simply incapable of processing any sort of criticism towards the game.

The reviews—actual numbers—are negative; these fans still dismiss it as a "review bombing."

A large number of people voice their criticism of the game; these fans call it "unjustified."

People keep their criticism simple and just say how they felt playing the game; these fans dismiss it on the basis of being "not constructive."

Streamers, who play games, and specifically GGG's Path of Exile 1, for thousands of hours, give very detailed and, in fact, quite constructive feedback; these fans dismiss it on the basis of, *checks notes*, "them being streamers."

That's my observation, too.

Especially when it's about "loot" and "build diversity", where some ppl with "basic" knowledge/understanding/experience think they "know the real truth".

Thanks a lot for the laugh mate. In all that seriousness, some humor is always refreshing.

I seriously miss the logic in any of your post, could you elaborate?

Very good summary. Also a lot of ppl here have voiced criticism in really long and detailed threads. They are dismissed as "you just want smth the game was not meant to be" kinda bs. The game has very obvious catastrophic design choices and conflicting ideas. The devs still seem to not know in what direction or genre they want to move towards and it shows. The only thing that can turn the tides is making a clear plan/roadmap as to what exactly the game is trying to become, voicing that openly and then stick to that and be happy with the players who stay and accept the ppl that dont agree with that leaving.
If they want meaningful combat, then they can’t just take the enemy AI from PoE 1 and slap it in there. Because then you get what we have now: PoE 1 with a face lift.

It now plays exactly like PoE 1 without movement skills and a dodge. There is nothing different and the top builds pancake the screen… just like PoE 1.

They literally, in ONE patch, took whatever they built in 0.1 and 0.2 and smashed it into bits because Johnathan seems set to go one way while Mark seems to go the exact opposite.

Per their last interview, it really should just how much discord there was behind the scenes, with Johnathan’s initial reaction always blaming rhe players and explaining why everything but his vision is “impossible.”

I don’t even know what kind of roadmap they had for actual game play changes but right now, after the half decade or more of work, it’s basically PoE 1 with updated textures.

Oh, and none of your old MTX works… and so far, nothing new has really been added. So it all ends up feeling like kinda of a scam. Not good. Especially for players that have sunk in thousands in support over more than a decade.

loot is OK

Give me some of those [Removed by Support]

Unless you're one of those people who only thinks divines and mirrors are good loot, there is quite a lot of stuff on the ground. If they opened the game up and allowed more builds to flourish, there would be a lot more value to the stuff thats dropping right now. Solve one problem and you solve another.

I am one of those people that thinks juicing multiple overlapping towers with +quant and +rarity, wearing 120%+ rarity gear, and juicing my waystones for rarity or rarity/quant, shouldn't still be a gamble on if I'll get my 3 exalts back or not each map. The currency drops are in a very bad place. This affects crafting, upgrading, trading, etc.

Well yeah, not a bad criticism. But why don't you guys make a thread about loot drops instead of discussing it here?
