Warning for Ultra widescreen Mod after I disabled it

Elon played the new patch. Would it have gone better if he had bigger aspect ratio? Or is widescreen "advantage" dwarfed by other factors such as reaction speed and mechanical skill?

Haha, honestly it would be a much bigger advantage for him if he simply added blueberries to his diet to increase his reaction speed a bit, at least from judging on the gameplay footage I saw :)

But I think its great that he is actually playing the campaign this time instead of pretending to be at a competitive level, he deserves props for that in my book.
For this that defend this decision:

You know what all 32:9 users have in common? What all users that drop 3k on monitor and another 3k on gfx card to be exact have in common? It might be 1% of user base - we will see about % of income it brings to a game.

I don't care about "advantage" in PVE game - especially where I can list you 500 other advantages that you can buy that are within bounds of TOS. This is just pure environmental enjoyment - if you think otherwise then you never used it.

GGG have a right to take it away - as I have a right to leave negative review and refund - as I did.

Glad you're able to refund it. I don't believe I can. Bought it when it first launched. Even put more $ into it to get more storage and a few cosmetics. As I stated, I enjoyed it then. But hey, if moving on to another game like this is what they want, moving onto another game is what I'll do. As I looked and behold, it's true, Last Epoch supports 32:9. A game with likeness of POE2 that supports it. In my opinion, that's just embarrassing.

Just another note that I've been watching with many people from the latest patch here. Many have played. I see more dislikes than I do likes. And what I've tried to gather is a real reaction of both, what is really taking place with the game.
What I've noticed, is that once "fun" is taken away, it's no longer really a game. I've stated like words in a previous post, almost like I predicted this games future. And here we are. People are simply stating the game is not "fun". Just as they did with us on 32:9 ban, taking away our fun, so they did with the actual core like of the game! Same ole bad decisions.

Once they took away a fun part of the game, even for a small group of us (not really knowing what they're doing), what's to stop them from taking more!? As myself and others have tried to state here, they just don't know what they're doing. What kind of company does these things? Something's wrong. Sure 32:9 has an advantage (in this game for now), but it isn't worth losing fanbase over. Fix the issue later when you have a solution, don't ban or threaten people. Same with the patch. Don't roll it on out without having that actual solution to the problems and make guesses if it'll work (that's what it seems like to me)? But maybe they're thinking the game is early access, this is a trial? If the patch isn't all that serious with the game then, and this is like a "test". Why then is 32:9 taken so seriously? It's only early access!

And if it's just a test, dang, all of ya'll playing, are "testers". Doing a job for the company, not being paid for it, in fact, you're paying them lol.

I played it for just over an hour today. I did like gameplay, I tweaked settings for some time after that I installed mod just as I did in PoE1 and I was ready for the next 2k hours but I get this warning on welcome screen. Calling me cheater. Cheat to who? Zombies? And how? By having immersion? Its solo game ffs - I understand that they don't want to invest in 1% support but I don't understand why they DO invest to screw that 1% by developing obstacles.

So I refunded this game - I will check again when its free in a year or two - good luck all of you.

Worth mentioning that Last Epoch fully supports ultra wide monitors.

No mods required.

GGG will not get another penny from me until they support my hardware.

Yeah, this latest PoE 2 patch is what made me boot up Last Epoch again. And it looks so good in 32:9 and it plays great as well.

lets be honest here, i wouldnt have spent 480$ on a game if i would have known that i will be called a cheater for playing on my 32:9 monitor a few months later. cant get a refund after 500 hours i guess. lol

i actually thought im going to enjoy this game for the next 10 years, but that enjoyment has faded away just like all motivation to even play the new league.
lesson learned, dont trust devs, no matter how promising and good they seem.

It's like a whole new other dangerous game we're playing as a buyer. I've learned lessons on buying games before they even come out. When they come out, they're nothing that was actually expected. VERY few have ever corrected that. I've learned on buying too early, due to the game not really being developed yet. (This is partly poe2) And on some games (that are very good) you should buy into them early and get nice rewards, some give all future updates, etc...
This game though? My first ever buying into a game, liking it, and doing a full 180 degree turn. In my opinion, this is where it gets quite dangerous to purchase any games! They can screw you over even if it's one you like!
I've decided to just get Last Epoch. Nearly same price as this one at launch, except I don't HAVE to pay actual cash for storage. Here's hoping it's good also! And I highly doubt they'll take away 32:9 since they actually support it. What a ridiculous difference. Remember to everyone, games are meant for "fun". Take that away.....well, all here have probably learned that lesson by now.
this is complete bullshit tbh, allow 32:9 resolutions in a 99% uncompetetive game, if you want a RACING OR COMPETETIVE ENVIRONMENT THEN MAKE A SEPARATE CLIENT THAT HAS FIXED RESOLUTIONS, it's not that hard really.

you're alienating WAY more people than you think you are pleasing by this decision

The important part for you and me is to learn from our mistakes and not buy the next supporter pack...

If GGG adds the support, I'll open my wallet again...
