Legacy of Phrecia Endgame Specialisation System

Losing the determinism to select the content we want is a hard pill to swallow. I can see the potential for a system like this to have a higher power level at the top end than the current atlas, but I'm not convinced that large amounts of RNG and loosing the freedom to do what we want are worth it.

It would be much easier to deal with if there was *some* way focus on the content that we want and add a bit of determinism in.

My recommendation in this regard would be to make the chances of league content appearing be an implicit on each item type. Like an essence idol makes 1 essence appear in your map or an einhar idol gives einhar a 25-35% chance to appear in your map.

Then give it mods for all the other stuff. So we pick the type of league content we want to play by the type of idols we fill the box with, and the mods determine how things are modified and whatnot.

This is actually a pretty good idea
Not a bad idea, but it will definitly change early currency making xD

Btw, PLEASE, dont forget to up map drop rate. If we dont have the tree, we will have trouble to sustain.
Stop deleting the best stuffs and assets you had in the game. Atlas tree is what keeps me grinding
Blight all day
I like the idea of trying something new. Two things that came to mind right away:

1. Maybe having idol basetypes for the different mechanics would be great (so one can only get breach mods, one for deli,...). That way it would be less annoying to change out one mechanic without having to replace a large number of relics.

2. Having part of the idol slots in the board locked behind map-tier completion or engame boss kills would be a nice way of scaling/getting more flexibility with playing through the endgame.

I know it's more of a test case for the system but this could improve the quality of feedback because there would be less general "hate" against the system (same goes for just giving us 3 loadouts, bound to the buttons used for the atlas trees before). Omitting the QoL of loadouts will lead to people that would actually like the system super annoyed and building a negative view for the change....
The lack of loadouts sucks, but glad to hear it was realized and noted, just that well not enough time.
Based on the grid spacing, it seems we will have access to fewer keystones unless someone goes all out on keystones forgoing other benefits. Which should make for additional interesting options.
Will be cool to see what size idols got each stat and all that jazz.
Removing atlas tree for the event its non-sense at all... Like, why?

What do you think about not removing the BEST part of the endgame?
Why this copium again? I mean we did establish that poe2 atlas system is lacking and this?

Sounds pretty cool actually.

I like the idea of doing whatever I drop instead of managing atlas tree, let's try it!! looks fun

I don't know why ppl are freaking out about not having a atlas tree.

Dude thats a event, lets try the idols first later you can complain

Have you considered reading any ONE comment out of the 60+ pages now? Then maybe you will have a clue?
So.... 100% chance for a strong box to be opentable again?
