State of Early Access Update
You guys thought we wouldn’t mind nerfing our builds after playing them for hundreds of hours because this is early access?

REMOVE TOWERS - DONT FORCE PLAYERS PLAYING BAD MAPS
Make PoE 2 more fun, towers and layouts (mapping in general) are soooo bad, thats the biggest problem rn. too many people dont play this game rn bc of this. |

Kind of surprised that there was no mention that loot in the game sucks. Loot on the ground is 99.99999% terrible. Exalts are way more common than items worth exalting. Crafting is essentially RNG slamming of currency.
Add all this up and you have a scenario where currency items are the only exciting loot in the entire game. It feels really bad. Doesn't bode well for the future that they don't even seem to be aware of this. Tower maps are not fun. Just get rid of them and let us socket a tablet as soon as we reach the tower. No need to run a blank, boring map. Speaking of which, blank "travel" nodes with no league mechanics on them are insanely boring. Precursor tablets applying to only X number of maps doesn't make sense. Just make them apply to all maps in range. So many map layouts are way too big and/or obnoxious. Boss materials take way too long to collect (except Breach, which is really the only league mechanic worth doing anyway). The list goes on. You guys used to be ahead of the industry. This reads like a bunch of amateurs barely scraping together their first project.

Y'all forgot that the altas is not a fun experience. Short term, giant search function. Long term, just go back to poe1-like atlas. Please.

Please fix the mobs in Vaal Factory. The experience is awful.

Suggestion: Improve Citadel Visibility in Atlas Map (UI Enhancement)
Problem: Currently, finding Citadels on the Atlas map is time-consuming and frustrating. Players have to scroll around the entire map for minutes, manually searching for Citadels through the fog, even with the new light pillar indicators. This slows down gameplay and disrupts the flow. Proposed Solution: Introduce a dedicated Citadel Icon in the Atlas UI, similar to the existing icons (e.g., for Trials and Hideouts). ✔ A small Citadel Icon in the UI showing the number of active Citadels. ✔ Clicking the icon automatically zooms in on the nearest Citadel, reducing unnecessary scrolling. ✔ If multiple Citadels are active, clicking the icon cycles through them, allowing for quick navigation. Benefits: ✅ Improves user experience by eliminating the need for excessive manual searching. ✅ Maintains game flow by keeping players focused on gameplay instead of UI struggles. ✅ More intuitive for new players, who often struggle to find Citadels. |

GGG, thank you for keeping us in touch.
You absolutely have to nerf and buff more frequently, in fact, constantly. Just give people an opportunity to respec freely, it will be enough. The game is insanely stale for a EA, it is boring and not fun. I love playing PoE because it makes it fun to solve different aspects of the game, and the worse what can happen is when there is nothing to solve, because there are builds which are destroying screens with 1 hit or\and killing T4 pinnacles in 0.1 seconds. Trying to solve your game is what makes it interesting and you absolutely should nerf and buff stuff 10x more frequently. Like every week. And please, for the love of God, redesign the Blood Mage and Pathfinder. The armour breaking stuff on Warbringer needs some love too. Last edited by grynnder#7112 on Feb 7, 2025, 11:09:39 AM

Completely out of touch with actual community sentiment.
> "Two of the big ones are the ability to teleport around the map..." Nobody wants checkpoints. They want good map layouts that don't require them. > "One of the key realisations since launch was how important it is to have more variety in tower maps, so we made it a priority" Nobody wants more tower layouts. They want an entirely new system that is less tedious to interact with. > "Existing unique items got a lot of improvements." These buffs were either entirely inconsequential or actual nerfs. They did nothing at all to increase excitement and provided no reason to use these uniques that did not already exist. > The ACTUAL biggest problem with the game - the lack of crafting and meaningful item progression - was literally NOT EVEN MENTIONED. What a complete joke of a post. How can we be expected to read something like this and have any hope for the future of the game, when GGG doesn't even understand what is wrong or needed with the game? Wildly disappointing...
