State of Early Access Update

Even in EA, PoE2 is likely my favourite game of all time in over 3 decades of gaming. A brief (subjective) wishlist, feel free to add to this:

- Shared mini-map progress in co-op
- Allowing at least one more chance in a map or allowing for one teammate revival per map
- Teleport directly to other players in one's party
- Nerfing lightning strikes (chest, elites) and burning ground damage
- Making some ground effects more clearly visible on maps
- Improving drop rates in general by at least 15-20%
- Allowing multiple “lives” in an ascendency trial, recommend 3 as a baseline, with co-op revival included
- Auto-sort inventory and stash buttons
- Control-click in inventory sends items to the stash tab containing the highest number of said items, e.g. jewels.
- Reducing gold cost for respec / skill point refunds
- Improving class-specific drops, can’t rely solely on online economy for items for one’s character, almost makes loot redundant if reliant on online trade
- Online trade window available in-game and with mailbox buyout feature ala WoW auction house
- Being able to inspect other players' gear, skill tree and active skill bars at any time
- Jewel affixes to match your current build - why, when enchanting a jewel with extra quarterstaff damage, a contradictory roll for, say, extra crossbow damage might be applied too? Makes it redundant for two classes then, and these rolls are very common

You say "Fixing Crashes and Performance Issues" and then proceed to talk about crashes exclusively. And sure crashes are the worst, but what about performance issues? The game is so hungry for processing power it's crazy. And I don't even understand where it goes sometimes (it's like you're mining bitcoins on our machines). Some maps seems to be ok, while others are absolutely unplayable. Even when nothing is happening on the screen FPS goes to shit, and when action starts it turns into slide show. Have you even tested your game on juicy maps?..

This really is the biggest issue. Many players with high end PCs are reporting performance issues as well as constant lag spikes especially in the evening hours. I am reporting this as well. Fix these things ASAP, please!
excuse me, but what are you even doing? you already took all the resources from poe1, had six years of development and two months since launch.
i genuinely stopped playing because of how ascensions work now. mapping seems very anti-coop. also can you please rename Infernalist to Demologist?
Judging by the conclusions made by GGG, nothing good should be expected for the players. Well, we will continue to suffer from bad game design) everything is as usual.

map itself
atlas overall
collisions

and tons of things related to the current content, but we are in early access, so we'll wait)

The map tab is a lie.

Huge post of GGG patting itself on the back for previous changes and then stating the obvious issues that players noticed in a few days of playing.

Let's get first thing out of the way - with you admiting to puting more developers on 0.2, to the detrament of PoE 1, puts A LOT of expectations on it.

Now.

- Waypoints.
If we are at a point, there you need Waypoints in maps - there's something deeply wrong with them. PoE 1 doesn't have, nor need them.
Visually - maps are gorgeous. Practically - due to "kill all rares" design - they are awfull.

- QoL
Having to manually 3-to-1, 1-at-a-time is fucking unhinged. I took away T1-13 maps from my filter, after having to up-tier a full tab of maps. Twice. Which almost made me quit for a week.
Why if fountain is a thing in 2025 game?
Why,, in the EA with "primary focus on Endgame" did you not put Map Tab on Day 1? Not to mention the remark on "we were planning it for RELEASE". It better be in 0.2.

- More endgame things to case
DIV. CARDS.

- Crafting
Wasn't mentioned, because it DOES. NOT. EXIST.

I enjoy PoE 2. A lot. And it does have an awesome foundation of fun campaign (I cannot wait to play the Acts 4-6), characters with personality (having Alva by my side, as we were going through past of Vaal was so great), AMAZING ART, great soundtrack.
But at the same time - some of the design ideas have no place in 2025 PoE 2.

And for the love of Innocence's musculant golden arse - don't jerk your knee, please, ok? In both games.

P.S.: Can we please undo the stupid reversal of mod tiers please? I mean honestly - T1 is clean and clear. Thank you.

No exact timeline for when 0.2.0 will be released is something I really can't understand at this point. For me personally, the game is pretty much unplayable in the endgame right now.

There are two types of builds that could be considered meta at the moment: the stat-stacker and the Temporalis builds.

Both share the same problem – you get stuck on every corner and edge, which is obviously due to the very specific map layouts.

If you want to go mapping, you first have to deal with this issue, not to mention that most maps are simply not fun. If I see a Seepage or something similar, I just have to close the game because I have zero motivation to run a layout like that. And often, there’s no way around these layouts.

And once you're actually mapping, you have to click every single splinter, making it feel like a click simulator. Alternatively, you could just run Sekhemas permanently, but that’s not really fun either.

For an EA, PoE2 is really good, but the fact that there's no information on when 0.2.0 will drop means that I won’t be playing until then. On top of that, I honestly can’t imagine PoE2 being finished in just a year.

That honestly makes me a bit sad.
