Auction House when?

You could ask everyone that bought EA to post +1 here and ask everyone who bought D4 + LE to post +1 here...Even ask the community of Elden Ring to post +1 here and will still be in vain . So spare the internet pixel wasting, they ain't gonna make an auction house for items any time soon.

Soon no, but by full release an AH is a must. I have had a ton of fun playing up to the "end game", however I need to gear up seriously now and the thought of spending my time trying to use the trade system to achieve this is just not going to happen. So I am likely to move on to greener pastures, hoefully to retun when an AH exists.
gonna be wild to see the look on everyone's face when GGG invests a ton of efforts to implement an auction house and all the people requesting it still complain about not being able to gear up due to currency drop rate needing boosted. And that they can't continue playing the game in this state.

What's next? Endgame exp penalty is too harsh? And not leveling is preventing you from playing? Perhaps we can have an easy mode or accessibility settings for those who just want to experience the story and all the mechanics but aren't as invested as other players. Not everyone needs penalized for losing.

I'm all for making qol changes but "This needs changed or I can't play this game anymore" style of demanding changes is not worth catering too. Greener pastures await over in Animal Crossing
Hear that folks? Wanting an AH means you are a child who should play animal crossing. The anti-AH people are not sending their best.

I wonder if you realize that you'll then say 'the bots are auto buying everything that's not overpriced you can't even get a deal anymore' or 'the farmers auto buy everything I can't get gear anymore'.

They give us an auto populating website to easily search up any item we can imagine. Not good enough. You get an auto written message or you can tailor your own request. Not good enough. Meeting people in an online environment, making friends, or haggling or making a deal. Nah, toss it.

So boring. All because for some reason you think an auction house solves everything, I don't really get that part. As if every system wouldn't have issues. Is it that hard to press a button? Oh no I didn't get an answer. Guess I'll click again. It's that hard? I honestly don't get it. You lose so much and don't even think about it.
The game could only improve

Agree. They think they'll get those super underpriced deals if there's an auction house...not the reality that they will cease to exist or bots will purchase them.

But then you see people say they can't play the game without something like this. Lol they're literally looking for reasons no to play or they're looking for reasons to complain and get attention.

Not to mention the currency exchange is literally an store to buy all forms of currency in. There is all sorts of variability in how the game economy works. Changing it just so you like it doesn't make it better it just makes it different. But I really don't think people can get past there general sense of entitlement to ever understand that what they want will probably suck

You may wonder, realise and assume what I may say as much as you like, but you are way off.
It is simple for me and many others. The current system for trading is slow and often a pain to use, it depends on two players being on-line at the same time. If that happens then you have to stop what you are doing to meet up “in person” to conduct a trade (sometimes to find out some plonker is trying to scam you or change the goalposts).
I guess the current trading may suit many who do little else but play PoE, but there are a lot who don’t, won’t or can’t dedicate so much of their free time to a single activity.
Your main, only really, argument for not having a simple in-game AH is bot manipulation; by the way this plagues the current trade model too.
Sure, the bots (and many humans) will try to manipulate the market, but at least I can decide whether to pay the asking price, get the item and use it right away.
So, what really is so great about the current trading system?
