0.1.1c Patch Notes

"
"Continued to incrementally improve the sound, art, effects and environments."

So instead of optimizing the game, you're adding even more effects, sounds, and graphical details that will tank performance for a lot of players? Many of us were hoping for performance improvements, not heavier visuals that make things worse. Maps like Savannah already run horribly, and now you're making it even harder to maintain stable FPS?

Will there at least be an option to favorite specific maps to avoid the worst-performing ones? Or are we just stuck dealing with more and more unoptimized content with every patch?

It's frustrating to see updates that should be making the game run better, but instead, they just keep adding things that slow it down. At this rate, playing on older hardware (or even mid-range setups) will become a nightmare.

Optimizing is not improving? That's what it says. Improved. Not added.
I'm saddened reading patch comments, it's like zero reflection or intelligence, just vomit.
The patch notes say

"The Stun Threshold tooltip now provides more information on stun mechanics."

I read this tooltip and it makes no sense. Does this mean you changed how stuns work?

I have videos of me taking more than my life pools worth of damage (74% comes from mana) and not getting stunned, while I did have about +500 threshold so I suppose it was not a 100% chance.

However just about 3 seconds later I'm back at full health and about 3600/3800 mana and I get stunned from a hit of less than 150 damage, which you can see as my HP did not move, and my mana continues going up, which means the hit should have had a 0% chance of stunning me.

According to your tool tip I got extremely lucky on the first hit, like 85-99% chance to stun me and I didn't get stunned.

However according to your tool tip I had a 0% chance of getting stunned on the second hit, and I got stunned.

So this either means you changed how stun works in this patch, or the tool tip is wrong.

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3711963 Is the bug report for that and has the video showing both hits that I just explained.

I want to copy&paste my response from Steam (copy&paste would also be a nice skill that the communications team should consider getting, since those infos aren't on Steam).

Just another below bare minimum update.
"Map (Waystone) Stash Tabs." is still not done.
You take real money for that, but you can't figure it out after ANOTHER 19 days of time to work on it.
But glad you had the time to hype it up 4 times on steam alone.
You are a disgrace for small indie devs, which you are obviously not even part of, but you constantly act like you are a small indie team with a low budget wanting praise for the tiny work being done.

Also the 24H2 update is not the issue, which people figured out before you even aknowleged the issue at all, because the exact same issue exists on windows 10, while update 24H2 is a windows 11 update.
How are you able to be so incompetend and still manage to have people defend your incompetence is beyond me.

I had 24H2 hard crashes but never freeze 23H2 or Windows 10 so some ppl get other issue here or issue is more complex that ppl think it is...

I'm not sure that relates to my issue, but my laptop PC "dead-freeze" till hard-reset when load engame map (open portals and trying to jump into fresh map). I start to face that issue after last patches. Not happend all-time, but not a rare thing. Quite often and that is very sad.

Interesting if that patch will able to fix my multiply laptop "dead-freeze" till hard-reset from the button when I'm loading endgame map. My friends have 100 game crashes instead just from nothing.

I'm not sure when that came, but 100% after couple last patches, because prev I don't have such issues.

And yes, this is first game for me which able to "freeze-kill" device with Ryzen 9 6900HX and RTX 3070 TI onboard...

Even EFT and other games not doing that BS.

This is the only PC game that I've had to constantly hard reboot my system. Hope this patch fixes it

At this point, is the goal to push more and more players away? Because that's exactly what it feels like. Seeing "Continued to incrementally improve the sound, art, effects and environments." instead of actual optimizations to improve performance is beyond frustrating.

Many players are struggling with terrible performance, and it feels like we're being completely ignored. Even the console community is complaining about how poorly the game runs. Shouldn't performance be one of the core pillars of development? Right now, it doesn't feel like you care.

You've created an incredible game that deserves all the time and dedication in the world, but what's the point if people can't play it smoothly?
sweet! the bug i reported was fixed! yay for planetary charges!
