Wow, look everyone, it's an opinion. Here is another one - PoE2 in its current iteration makes D4 look like a 15/10 genre defining masterpiece. It makes Diablo Immortal somehow seem like a good game lol.

I've had disappointment with countless developers over the years. This is genuinely the first time I've had actual animosity. That whole studio can burn for all I care.

I think your missing the point where they put specific emphasis that both Poe 1 and 2 would be evolving together. Example Poe 1 has a new league, people play the league for a month or two, get bored then swap over to Poe 2 rinse lather and repeat. What op is saying is that this model does not exist because they are stripping all Poe 1 resources for poe 2 instead of idk.... Getting more devs with all the money? Lol. It's a simple concept that makes sense and is beneficial to both games.
