I agree with Ben on everything. Poe 2 is dogshit and I dont see it getting any better. RIP Poe was a good run.

Who cares? Stay on poe1 with ben and the other 500 players and 8500 bots doing the same exact activities of the past 10 years, making yet another one button build that blows up the screen with a different skill (basically just a different cosmetic skin at this point).

GGG has always taken an iterative approach, making gradual improvements over time. While some changes may feel like band-aids, that doesn’t mean a full redesign isn’t coming. It’s just unrealistic to expect sweeping overhauls this soon.
And yeah, better communication about long-term plans would help, but historically, GGG tends to reveal major changes when they’re closer to implementation rather than making promises too early.
And it seems like the “veterans” of PoE, especially Ben_, should definitely be aware of this, right?
And as I said before, I’m not against constructive arguments, but just look at the playthroughs from a year ago and compare them to what we have now. It’s clear there’s been significant progress, even if it’s not always as fast as some would like.
We know that, but new players don't. Considering PoE2 is GGG's attempt to onboard lots of new players, they need to communicate more frequently with their players - especially in a gaming market where 20 other, similar games are vying for our attention.

And the alternative is playing PoE2, also infested with bots and one-button builds that blow up the screen. We want that to change so that PoE2 IS a distinct game, not just a prettier PoE1 with more tedium.

I love these people that act like PoE1 map "bosses" were anything more than a monster with slightly more health and a couple of extra attacks their meta builds would never see in the first place. They got liquidated just as quickly as everything else; they meant nothing.
At least rare hunting gives me a reason to run through the map, and if they fix up the rare rates in some maps and quintuple the number of checkpoints, it would be a far more enjoyable system than PoE1 mapping ever was.
Every time I run into a horde of rares all bundled on top of each other, the game becomes far more engaging than PoE1 mapping ever was. It just needs to happen more often.
Aint no way someone justfying the rare system, just insane.
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.

So exactly the same as POE 2 but worse?
