Stop disrespecting players time!!

"
Imagine thinking a dev saying someone wasn't working the way they intended "crying", and my high-end PC has had 2 crashes in about 350 hours.

Someone's not playing on DirectX12

I have a choice, either run DirectX and crash every other map, or run Vulkan and put up with my fans sounding like a jet aircraft. I do not have a low end PC

Crashes and general performance are definitely issues

PoE1 didn't crash like this
Just so you know, the argument of "disrespecting players time,!!" is asinine.

You're disrespecting your own time. You choose to keep playing. Offer feedback if you don't like something but you paid your money and took a chance, oh well.

Go rage somewhere else

I'm absolutely playing DX12...but keep coping.
Coping?

Why are you discounting everyone else's experience but your own?

I mean.. the last patch has a crash dump included.. there are obviously problems

game that seems to be in an alpha state in terms of performance, crashing every few hours in a high-end PC.

The game engine is not in alpha state lol , we're talking about the last installment of an 18 years old game engine they home-built back in 2007 . GGG had the opportunity to go fresh with something stable but instead decided to go low-effort & keep the instabilities already there with PoE 1 : CPU stuttering , servers latencies , ... are nothing new .

fresh with something stable? like what? the dumpster fire that the Unreal turned into? the issue that GGG is running into is not unique to their engine at all. This is a wide problem caused by piling up inefficiencies across most if not all engines. the engine is heavy on CPU and yes sometimes the fucks are using our rigs to beta test it but i still prefer it over any other engine out there, it feels sharp and tight when it works right. if they would of start with a new engine poe2 would be coming out in 2035

Unreal ? lol . Titan Quest game engine is older than PoE engine and more stable as it was proven by Grim Dawn , Unity could have been a much better option .

I'm not, for that one point specifically, I was providing a counterpoint. It was one line in the midst of like four others. Perhaps not the strongest way I could have put it, but just yelling "stop crashing my computer, GGG" isn't any better. (and specifying "high-end PC" is wildly unhelpful too)

If you choose to play a game you don't enjoy, you're disrespecting your own time. Don't blame GGG, sekhemas is the easiest trial imo chaos is harder, you can get every relic to trivialize every sekhemas run for 4 exault max. I have to try and fail it it's so easy. Just learn the mechanic and don't blindly blame "overtuned afflictions" for every bad affliction there's a boon that's better. And you have no reason not to end up with every single boon every single run when you actually know what you are doing.

It's not rng based, it's competence based. You can't fail it if you learn it and actually know how to do it.

The only game I own noisier than this one is cyberpunk, if I play on 4k ultra. Here, I have no choice but to play in deafening fan mode regardless of resolution, I have no idea what could be causing it as even the login menu is spinning them up.

I can wait but the crashes and performance issues are real

more stable with not even half the load, and when i tried GD it felt very gooey to me. Unity would be better than Unreal, but I wonder why everyone is jumping ship onto Godot recently...

Grim Dawn endgame can have big mob density .
They're moving onto Gondot because Unity management tried bad to squeeze their customers on royalties and shit .
