Stop disrespecting players time!!
With the amount of frustration you charged your game with, it is hard to be respectful while giving feedback. But I will do my best.
After a really hard Trial of Sekhema, a 40+ mins run, full of your overtuned crafted afflictions, I managed to finish with 16 keys. I was excited because 6 of them were gold and I thought that I might be able to see a cache with time-less jewels and get my hands on one, because haven't seen 1 in 500+ hours. My dissapointment came with the fact that, not only the cache wasn't there, but out of 16 keys, only 2 damn bronce caches opened with loot. TWO DAMN CACHES!!!! With useless magic gear that seemed to be a drop for the first minutes of the campaign. You can not expect players to spend 40+ minutes in a really hard activity, that can also be bricked by your absurd RNG afflicitions, and not giving us rewards that match that activity. In the last stream, you were crying because ''players killed the boss too fast and skipped the mechanics. That was painful'', but then you laugh at us by putting overtuned mobs that kill us 2 screens away, activities that don't drop loot and a game that seems to be in an alpha state in terms of performance, crashing every few hours in a high-end PC. You incentivize players to cheese the game. There are people that might never give your games a second chance after an experience like the one you are delivering. I will wait just 1 more patch to see if all of this changes, because if it doesn't, it just means GGG is okay with wasting players time. We are not in the year 2000 and this is not Diablo 2. People want to have fun playing a game, not being frustrated and finding empty caches after speding time on it. Last bumped on Jan 27, 2025, 3:01:12 PM

damn, at least in poe1 lab you got fonts, you didn't get any worth out that run? i don't do those runs even for ascendancy points so im a bit under informed on what it gives exactly lol

" X to doubt. " Imagine thinking a dev saying someone wasn't working the way they intended "crying", and my high-end PC has had 2 crashes in about 350 hours. " That is true of literally every game, and in this case, you're talking literally about the experience you're having, not the one being delivered (plenty of folks like trials, don't have constant crashes, enjoy the game) " Just one more. Just one more. Might as well leave - the entire game isn't going to bend to your will in 1 patch (or ever), but I don't know why I'm saying this, because if you were going to quit, you'd have just done it. Instead, you'll come back after the next one, spouting how nothing was fixed (it will be, just not what YOU dislike), give them "just one more shot" and log another 100 hours. Get some sleep. |

" You absolutely do get plenty of stuff but it requires you to know what you're looking for and a lot of players don't care about the actual trial but just about their ascendancy. They simply refuse to learn. Last edited by Scarletsword#4354 on Jan 27, 2025, 5:40:05 AM

" The game engine is not in alpha state lol , we're talking about the last installment of an 18 years old game engine they home-built back in 2007 . GGG had the opportunity to go fresh with something stable but instead decided to go low-effort & keep the instabilities already there with PoE 1 : CPU stuttering , servers latencies , ... are nothing new . " fresh with something stable? like what? the dumpster fire that the Unreal turned into? the issue that GGG is running into is not unique to their engine at all. This is a wide problem caused by piling up inefficiencies across most if not all engines. the engine is heavy on CPU and yes sometimes the fucks are using our rigs to beta test it but i still prefer it over any other engine out there, it feels sharp and tight when it works right. if they would of start with a new engine poe2 would be coming out in 2035 |
