Just directly go to the End Game, drop 1 div, thats 40k transmutation orbs.

1 Divs is 40k Town Portal trips.

This is an example of you not knowing anything about game design or even how to play the game.

Let's hear your idea of how to "fix" it.
Maybe every item that drops should be "valuable"?
But if every item dropped is valuable, then nothing is valuable.

Did any seasons had that number of player grinding endgame for so long ? Never . So it's certain that exploits from cheaters made the situation worse , but exalts are worth shit mostly because millions of exalts have been farmed every single days for months .

This started a week ago. Before divs were 100-120ex stable. GGG did something, cheaters, scammers, manipulation, the people that were using them are no longer using them, or the people that weren't using divs are using them now. Either way it's why I don't play this game late game.

I think another problem that kinda adds to this is how they made iir work in this compared to poe1, not as many people have it or can afford it in their builds and that's the main way to get divines to drop more

Luckily you can get 100% on waystones/precursors fairly easily. What they need to do is remove aug and regals and move the function of regals into exalts. That'll increase the value of exalts by a bit. They can also add more modifiers. Double the mods and half the amount per mod, so it'll take four mods to get that 200% increased phys instead of two.


Yeah they need to change something, according to the testing on prohibited library discord waystone/precursor rarity is nice but it isn't a substitute for player rarity somewhere along the way it's multiplied, so you still want roughly 100-150% player rarity for the best efficiency on top of waystone/precursor rarity

Forgot about that. It's almost as if an extremely important part of the game isn't properly explained in game. Well, they got that part of dark souls down pat!

The map changes happened. More mobs, more elites on lots of maps. This raised the supply of exalts, but didn't increase the demand for them by the same amount. This means more exalts existing within the economy, and a devaluation of exalts.

If GGG wants to meddle with that, they'll either need to lower the drop rate of exalts or up the rate at which we use them. The former would be bad for the game, especially the SSF servers. The latter would mean some new system that gobbles them up or else them fixing their loot system so that we are far more likely to get decent items as loot, and consequently use exalts on those. So that's unlikely to happen.

At the end of the day, though, Exalts do not exist to primarily serve as a trade currency. They exist to give gear, waystones, strongboxes, and the like extra stat lines. That we chose to use them as a primary trading currency is just that, something we chose to do, based on supply and demand. So if the demand/value drops low enough, we'll swap over to another currency to use instead of it. Probably Chaos Orbs.

Chaos orbs have unlimited use, exalts are limited use by nature, so they're really the wrong thing to use as base currency

Chaos orbs should drop closer to the rate of exalts, at the moment they're too rare to use on waystones, but it would be nice to be able to roll off some of the worse affix combinations

People here kept claiming MF on gear ain't multiplied with MF on maps bc tests said so , can you share the results or a link to this testing ? Thks

Inflation is a logical and predicted outcome! this is how economy works!

The solution to this is either:

1- Reduce the exalt drop: (bad solution) This will prevent players from using their exalts and now that they are used to it this will frustrate them and we will start to have posts asking for higher drops instead!

2- Create a currency sink and move the inflation elsewhere: (good solution)
in other words: fix the crafting system! this not only will create a currency sink but will also start to flood the market with good items!
300 exalted now, there is literally no point left playing in this season anymore. No changes, no balance, economy is gone, there is no meaning left in the season. We need that new season patch as soon as possible.
You would think they would have figured this out during early access.

Instead they went to full release and we get this mess.


OH WAIT. IT IS EARLY ACCESS.....

They have 12 months to play around with drop rates before this game launches.
