Truly a single player experience now, in SSF, with global chat off. Literally no reason to be in the tradie spam infested shit. Getting pm'd by you know whats for RMT stuff. boo. I agree. I miss SSF chat. Felt like a community. you can see the names also in chat, many are filtered due to being rude probably, or they are really stupid names. Chat just got overall worse. something like 80% of that are people deliberately joking, its called meta irony. You know ironically saying things like "filthy traders" or "SSF BTW"? This is not new. Remember a few months back when the POE streamers were playing Settlers in Ruthless mode and started meming about how they call non ruthless players "benchies" because of the crafting bench? Yeah that was the same thing, no one calls them that and no one actually unironically calls trade players "tradies". Its called banter. The only thing thats changed at all is that the game has reached a bunch of new ppl who don't get that its old memes and irony and ofc at least the odd 2Header who doesn't get that its memes who take it seriously. You know like people who think Quin69 actually thinks he's a god gamer. The people who are always confused by dry sarcasm? The types that read 4Chan take everything seriously and sometimes go out an actually do stuff? That type? Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4. If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.
