SSF global chat should be separate

Bump. Please fix this. TRADE chat is not fit for human consumption.

+1 and hope this posts keeps getting momentum. I didn't realize how great SSF chat was until merging. People were helpful, joked around, and felt like a community of players.

Now I'm just getting spammed with RMT ads, and tons of SSF-hate in chat to the point that I have chat closed full time.

Yes please do.

Can't figure out why it was taken away. A step to gradually remove SSF altogether from the game? I hope not.

I think this was a side-effect of implementing league migration (SSF to trade).

Honestly I think they should just get rid of migration.

Who would ever want to migrate to trade league? SSF is a choice. Make that choice permanent. Get rid of league migration and separate SSF & trade chat.

I don't like this chat merge but I think migration in itself is nice, nobody is forced to use it. I have used it myself a few times in Poe 1 when my dead HCSSF character went to Softcore SSF, at that point I do not care about them as I only play HCSSF but I wanted to make some tests and try a few things so I sent them to Standard Trade to get whatever I needed to make my tests. I was glad I had that option.

This can also be a enticement for people who would normally play trade or Softcore to try HC or HCSSF, knowing that if all else fails they go back to normal league. A friend of mine started playing SC but then would start new characters in HC just because he could see how long he lasted then continue in SC. As expected became more of a HC players over time.

Please un merge the ssf and trade chat. I have had chat off since patch because it's just rubbish now. There was a nice community building in the ssf only channels, always seeing similar names, people rolling gear, asking questions etc.

I was wondering why global chat got insanely bad, I thought everyone in SSF was joking about the chats being merged, pretend price checks etc.. then i did a /whois and it all made sense.

Truly a single player experience now, in SSF, with global chat off. Literally no reason to be in the tradie spam infested shit. Getting pm'd by you know whats for RMT stuff. boo.
