so funny how you instantly nerfed a build that wasn't even overpowered at all, but are leaving archmage, howa, barrier invocation, grim feast and cast on minion death as they are, because you "don't wanna kill builds mid-league"

there are like 50 builds that have faster/better clear than gas grenade/gas arrow, and their burst isn't even good, in fact their damage is so bad atm that there isn't a single build showcase where a player kills a +4 pinnacle with grenades, but the nerf is still not reverted, and it'll probably take like a year for you to buff the grenade skills

same shit happened with crap ton of skills in poe 1 too, like the explosive concoction nerf. nobody was even using it, I was literally the ONLY player on poe.ninja using EC during the kalandra league (it's the level 100 ascendant I have), and you hit it with a massive nerf out of nowhere merely because its poison counterpart was strong, and left it to rot

why? are the devs just clueless? are they simply bad at their job? or they don't care about balance and do random changes until people are satisfied?

They are simply complying with orders received from Tencent mandated game psychologists.
I see so many people complaining about the rate of the coming changes or GGG communication, even now after the announcement of what I would call a substantial and very good update coming later this week. I really don't get it.

PoE2 is at the beginning of its early access, of course there are bugs, balance issues and some systems are not fully baked yet. The improvements are coming based on players feedback and complaining about the rate of changes won't change a thing.

Some changes are relatively easy to implement, and we'll see them in the next patch, while other changes take more time. You can't expect to have all the improvements ready tomorrow, just because you think there is a problem right now.

GGG also needs to decide on the best strategy to implement changes, even if they could add all classes, missing skills and finish all improvements right now, they probably shouldn't. These things need to be introduced over time, so there is enough time for everything to be fully tested and the strong momentum is built before the full release.

People also need to have a reason to come back to the game and test the improvements, so the ideal solution is 2-3 months cycles with substantial changes instead of constant small fixes just to please small minority of impatient players.

I also think there should also be some content left for the final release of the game. This way we can attract more players at the most important moment - the full release of the game. The more players, the better revenue for GGG and as a result we'll have better and better game for years to come.

My message to all impatient players is to relax and enjoy the ride, I'm pretty sure the game will be great, as GGG proved time and time again.

GGG, you are doing AMAZING work, please ignore the complains coming from people who have no idea how to run the game, and only care about their own little dopamine hits.

literally nobody's expecting a finished game

people are only expecting GGG to acknowledge the issues instead of acting like blizzard devs

How the **** are they behaving like blizzard? They addressed a ton of issues in their 0.1.1 announcement.
You should probably think about your expectations - it seems 2025 will be even worst, what player expect from devs - where in this world would it be feasible to address every ****ing issue, anyone from an ~1m playerbase has? How would they be able to answer everything? How do you know what is on their roadmap, don't you think they are doing their best fixing everything asap? Look at all the complaints ... they are even opposite on some topics - how comes, that YOU are an expert of how they should behave?

I fully support it, people want too much because they have high expectations.
you're missing the point again, I didn't say that they should address every issue in a month, I said that they should at least acknowledge the issues so that they can be addressed later

saying "I don't agree with that, because I didn't notice this particular problem during my own playthrough" is acting like a blizzard dev. a good developer would never say something like that
