Hi everyone :) I don’t write much, and this is probably my 5th comment since 2012-13.

About the game: I like the second part more than the first one. I enjoy the way you can really feel every mob. And, of course, the graphics are amazing.

However, when it comes to updates, GGG has really disappointed me in terms of balance and their overall promises. For example, they said that a month after the game’s release, there would be a new hero with subclasses. I was also expecting significant changes in this patch… but after seeing it, I felt cheated. It feels like GGG is just messing with us.

Just look at how they’re “fixing” weak uniques—have you even read the mods? This is far from a professional approach to the game.

I also wanted to add that after watching the interview, I got the impression that the questions and discussion topics were planned in a way that made it easier for GGG to respond. Most of the questions the community raised were ignored.

In my opinion, this shows a lack of respect for the fans. It’s really disappointing that the same people working on PoE2 are the ones from PoE1—because it’s all the same mistakes being repeated.

that's not what I said at all, but anyway, I'm following the patches because surely someday soon they'll hire good devs that know how to make a game

You’re toxic. As if you think GGG don’t have excellent devs and some of the best in the industry I’d even say. You literally just have to watch some of these interviews or exilecon presentations they put on. Or even look at the history of GGG and the development of path of exile 1 over the years. Surely you aren’t refuting all of this evidence and making insane statements like GGG need to employ better devs.
The game is excellent and you’ll see over the months/years as they work on it, releasing patches and updates to balance and add more content. Right now you’re stuck in some weird phase in your life where you need to come to these forums and shit on people working hard. I would suggest you go away and think about how you can improve yourself and stop being so negative. Provide suggestions and feedback but keep that nonsense attitude and belittling out of here.

about POE 1 and missing trade filters are the only 1 subjects they didnt touched

so funny how you instantly nerfed a build that wasn't even overpowered at all, but are leaving archmage, howa, barrier invocation, grim feast and cast on minion death as they are, because you "don't wanna kill builds mid-league"

there are like 50 builds that have faster/better clear than gas grenade/gas arrow, and their burst isn't even good, in fact their damage is so bad atm that there isn't a single build showcase where a player kills a +4 pinnacle with grenades, but the nerf is still not reverted, and it'll probably take like a year for you to buff the grenade skills

same shit happened with crap ton of skills in poe 1 too, like the explosive concoction nerf. nobody was even using it, I was literally the ONLY player on poe.ninja using EC during the kalandra league (it's the level 100 ascendant I have), and you hit it with a massive nerf out of nowhere merely because its poison counterpart was strong, and left it to rot

why? are the devs just clueless? are they simply bad at their job? or they don't care about balance and do random changes until people are satisfied?

GGG only cares about feedback/suggestions when it comes from big streamers, stop being delusional

and I mentioned multiple times that most of the interviews are great, but the game looks like it was made by different people with completely different design philosophies

when I listen to jonathan/mark/chris, I agree with almost everything they say. but when I login to the game, I only see that they were just lying all along

nobody even expected poe 2 to be the zoomzoomfest it is right now, because we were led to believe otherwise by the interviews
