I've done 4 ascendancies with 2 chars so far, and 3 ascendancies with my 1st one.

I always go Quest Sekhema > Quest Ultimatum > 10 trial ultimatum > 4 floor sekhema and never really ran into any problems. Even if the last boss in Sekhema took 15 minutes i did kill him first try without any prior knowledge. Also never really liked Sanctum in PoE 1 but here I am running it pretty flawlessly, after some failures you get so many relics that it's no issue for me to have capped honor res and like +100% or so max honor at the beginning. Then i just choose rooms i want (escape, chalice, hourglass) and i'm peachy, usually reach last boss with close to 100% honor left and then honor resist do come into play alot, still finished above 50% honor both times.

Also ultimatum tornado boss is getting "fixed" with 0.1.1, the reason I don't run ultimatum more often other than with my archer that has like 50 or 60% movement speed

Hope yall fix the trade site for filtering the timelost jewels, for the basic and uniques both.

PoE 1 is sooo 2024. everyone's into PoE 2 now.
