We need to raise our voices for Auction House system

The game is currently in Early Access, yes.

We might manage to get by until this summer, but when the full release arrives, the game absolutely needs an Auction House-style market system integrated. Even games released in the 2000s had such systems, so for a game coming out in 2025 — especially one that has been so successful and crushed its competition — relying on a website for trading is simply unacceptable.

Sure, pro players or those who’ve figured out the system might not struggle, but for first-time players, it can take weeks just to understand the basics of the game. On top of that, learning how to search for items on a trade website, how to look for specific items, and what criteria to use is an absolute nightmare.

You message someone who listed an item just to get no response, and so on. Also, if the player is offline, it’s impossible to get the item you want. Similarly, if I want to sell an item, I can’t do so once I log out of the game. We all have lives and can’t always be in front of our computers. If there were an Auction House system, I could list the item I want to sell there, and even if I log back in a day later, the item might already be sold. Likewise, if I wanted to buy an item, the seller wouldn’t be able to troll me by refusing to trade.

There’s plenty more that could be said, but there’s no need to drag it out. I’m sure GGG management is aware of this issue, but as players, we need to emphasize just how essential this is for us.

Even as it stands now, the game is excellent. I can’t stop playing it. As fans of the game, we want it to grow into something even better.

I will not trade right now because I dont trust the system and I dont want to be hacked.
We've been begging for an AH for over a decade.

I'm literally in the game right now just to keep my items listed.

It's incredibly stupid and it's a problem that had been solved in MMOs over 20 years ago without issues.

Unfortunately since Diablo 3 had an AH and DID have issues - that single failure is constantly being used to justify not having an AH in PoE2.

There we go.

Because Diablo 3 had issues, AH bad.

Even though pretty much every single other game from the days of Everquest had an AH and somehow managed to do just fine...

Diablo 3 had TONS of issues that were not even fully related to the AH but the AH did bring them to the front.

"Play Nice: The Rise, Fall, and Future Of Blizzard Entertainment" actually even covered the issues, but expecting AH hater to actually read books is a tall ask...
The bot/rmt guilds may have a deal worked out to buy a set amount of top tier starter packs so long as they don't get shut down. GGG may risk a significant revenue stream if they implement an AH.

How did you manage to buy your tinfoil hat without an AH?

Yeah - cause you didn't list any.

Do you have the listed on the trade site?
