When fix of obviously op builds?

Can we have some examples, which builds should be nerfed?

At this point, any nerf they do, the rich would recover instantly, while the poor might need to get back to grind low level maps.

This isn't a beta. The game has gone through like 6 different betas before EA.

But it's still trash because GGG ignored tester feedback.

You won't find me defending GGG on that front. They didn't just ignore tester feedback, they ignored over a decade of refinements made on PoE1 because they want to shove "the Vision" down our throats no matter the cost. I think the dev team needs to get their heads out of their asses and stop being stuck in the early 2000s. I don't want to be playing a reskin of Diablo 2 in 2025.

HOWEVER, screaming for nerfs to builds right now is deranged. The game needs serious bugfix passes. Duping and crafting abuses were rampant. There are still bugs making the game unplayable for people. There are visual bugs causing inconveniences that are inexcusable.

Then they need to look at optimisation. The game runs like shit on systems that should be able to run it three times over.

And after all this is done, take a look at balance. Because right now it literally doesn't matter, and it's not even that bad. Yes people with mirror gear are blasting on Mana and Attribute stackers, but who cares. They paid for those builds. I've played three characters now, and I can tell you, Archmage only started feeling "better" after a lot of investment. That's fine. It's EA, there's time to fix that.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure there's a few people at GGG who only look at balance, and they're already hard at work trying to come up with the triple whammy that will remove the last remaining couple playable builds from the game, leaving it a messy heap of garbage where every build feels shit, because that's all they know how to do.
Still waiting for GGG to admit that they made mistakes and actually work on fixing them.

You'll find me when pigs start flying.

More than just fix

There should be a wipe, obviously - just to FK UP all the RMTers life, which is already good enough reson to do it.

So players who have been farming for gear should lose everything to penalize the 0.1%?

1. Who forced you to be nolifer in the ALPHA state? Only your fault. Regular players touched this, seen that, been there, not more. But not mindlessly grinded 24/7 in the Aplha - only RMTers did that to have their profits on the overhiped 'release'. ONLY!

2. Nobody talking about fixing bugs, exploits etc - there is nothing to discuss, because such stuff should be fixed asap without any warnings. And most active users of such exploits should be banned. And don't sell me any kind of BS - any player is able to see if something is intended or not.

3. And yes, this is Alpha, everything (!) can and should be changed many and many times before release. Including wipes. By purchasing your access to the Early Access you agreed that you've been informed about that and gave your agreement on all of this.

no its not , its not even beta , as GGG said its EA of the full game . we really need an option for democratic bans on this forum, some people spreading misinformation really need to touch grass.

1. The game is already a month old, even the newbies have already closed the atlas and collected themselves builds from 30+ divines, do you want to nullify all their labors?

Maybe you should relax, have a cup of tea, you forget that this is a game and take everything too seriously.

As a player in poe 1 since 2013 I can tell you with certainty, what you want to do will not lead to anything good for ordinary players, those who trade violating the rules of the game were also in poe 1, they are essentially for ordinary players have no influence, I do not feel their strong influence on the market, it is a fraction of a percent which means nothing.

2. On the second point, I agree that the problem should be solved quickly, but you should realize one point, the sooner the community finds bugs in the game, the better it will be for everyone by the release.

3. I think wipe should be done when global new content is released, it will be justified and will reboot a dead economy, if you wipe during one league several times, players will flee the game en masse.

You need a mental health check. What RMTers and profit on release are you talking about?

Most normal players I know have managed to get to builds that can clear all content solo just by playing the game. It's been a month. If you're struggling to reach that point, you should take a good hard look at how bad you are at the game.

Also, there is no profit to be made on release. Everything that we have farmed up will be put into a graveyard league and forgotten. There is nothing to gain by amassing wealth during EA. GGG made this perfectly clear. This is not a league and should not be treated as such.

You really need help. Both for your mental state and so that you can stop screaming about the injustice of people being better than you at a video game.

OP is just asking when, not screaming, not butt-hurt, or whatever.

Some stuff nullifies mechanics in the game too easily, it should be handled (doesn't need to be a nerf, can be a change in design or whatever) before the official release.

Too many things are in the pipeline to now be able to balance things out. They'll be balance patching constantly - better to continue with content, fix some obviously broken things (as they have) and later have a good look at balance (one of those megapatches).

Plus there's still plenty of work at the backend of things that are functionally not that impactful and more important than the numbers on skills/stats currently. Now is the time to handle and finish them to get the official release in a league-ready mode.

EA is taking some extra pressure I think because of the lack of a PoE1 league.

Which is yet another thing, I bet players expect it to be a big one. A filler league after no league will cause some reactions and redirect pressure to EA.

They should have maybe started with endless ledge 2.0 and kept people busy in PoE1, but then how do you charge for EA, I guess.

They have such a ton of work ahead...
Did you try turning it off and on again?
Instead of wanting buffs for other builds they want nerfs for existing builds that work, not considering that if they nerf interaction that make some builds op they might be over nerf what you already have in which case we won't have any working build...

What a bunch of ....

Need to consider perspective.

"Op" is a sliding scale based on anything's comparison to everything else.

If you nerf The top five builds. The next top five will also be op compared to everything else...

True balance never existed. No arpg has EVER been balanced.

Be careful what you wish for.

100% right here. I never understood people crying about nerf this and nerf that in a PVE game. If the build looks op, then make it. I honestly don’t get it. If the company wants to balance the game, then buff your content. More boss HP etc.

Public announcement for people that don’t already get it, EVERYONE IS GOING TO GET NERFED AT SOME POINT! If you can’t take that, go play something else until next year when 1.0 releases. Just get it in your head now. There’s going to be a build that is the best build you have ever played, and you’re gonna think about playing it all day in school or at work and about what upgrades you want to do or different stuff you want to try with it. Then one day you’re gonna read the next patch notes and GGG is going to totally destroy your dreams.

If the thought of that angers you, this isn’t the game for you. No one who’s played this game for any period of time cares either. Save your fingers from typing out the “quitting the game, wtf GGG?!?” Literally no one cares. Not on here, or on Reddit.

While we are at it, can we please just admit to ourselves that Reddit is the worst thing to happen to gaming in gaming history.

Thnx bye

Being stronger and being op to the point of game breaking isn't the same thing and i think you both know that but you just don't wanna get your "shiny" copy pasta build nerfed.
More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience.
