PoE 2 Latency Spikes?

This latency issue needs to be fixed, game is unplayable.
Did all the above suggestions and none worked.

Further more I did
- clean my computer to make sure page file is good
- followed youtube vid on this issue checking with google ping. Google ping constantly 5-6ms while poe2 server ping is starting with 5ms goes to 80ms and then to 200-300ms with spikes to around 3000ms

Nothing worked.
I have no wifi but cable. I have the best fiberglass internet speed availabe in NL and connected to POE2 Amsterdam server but other EU servers act same way.

Fact -> I did not have any problem before the POE2 patch in april and I don't have any problem with POE1.

This all changed with the patch and multiple people I play with report the same issue.

GGG please fix and make the servers stable because a lot of players are affected by this.

The issue described in this thread is exactly what I have been experiencing - I think I may have fixed it.

Open CMD and type in;

ipconfig /flushdns

Then hit enter.

I've not had an input related lag spike since I've done this.

Let me know if it resolves it for you or it's just pure coincidence.

I have 1GB internet, 7900X3d and 7900XTX.

I have a 7950x3d and 7900xtx with the same issues and flushing dns did not solve it. Also tried setting 8.8.8.8

So it turned out it was pure coincidence that it had stopped lagging for me after doing this, was just a shot in the dark really.

I was back to lag spikes yesterday after have 24 hours of bliss.
Bump

I am having the same issues in NA.
I have the same problem. Can't play the game at all cause of this.
Same issue here. The server pings are crazy high atm. Only happening in the evening I'm assuming at peak hours.
changing to 5ghz made it worse
Same here, in rush hours the game is unplayable in EU region. In hideout I have spikes to 200 ms every 2 seconds, depending on the server I'm connected to I can have spikes to 600 ms. I played maybe 6 maps past 5 days, because doing combos is impossible on maps with high density of mobs. I tried to play from different networks, with game client only without anything else that could consume network in the background - no success.

I started reading that some game settings due to engine can interrupt network latency so I tried different settings but nothing helped. On the discord also we can see peoples asking "anyone else has lag spikes??. This is so frustrating right now

bump
Same thing. Seems like the ping spike gets worse as I try to input more action to my character. The ping is absolutely normal when I'm standing still in my hideout.
Bump.

Same issue as all the other EU-players reported.
Constant swapping between the Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam servers.
It's a 1 out 3 gamble every time, 1 is usually stable for 15 minutes after changing.

This is getting out of hand and is completely crushing my immersion and enjoyment.
