please get rid of MF, make players WANT to play SSF
Friend if "trade fixed everything" then maybe SSF just isnt for you.
removing magic find doesnt change this in any meaningful manner. more streamers are playing SSF to get away from Trade / economy issues. |

NEVER Remove " XX% Increased Rarity of Items Found" Affix from the game.

One of the MF problems
You have two situations 1. You have a build that requires more different stats/ mods to be good - It's harder to find gear for this build - You don't have space for MF mods. 2. You have a build that requires less different stats/ mods to be good. - It's easier to find gear for this build. - You have mod space for MF mods So you not only find gear even easier, but also win in the trading buisness. - Soultions to all MF problems: 1. MF only on maps and tablets. 2. Orb that gives additional MF to content you choose (you can upgrade a strongbox, a ritual, delirium etc.) 3. Special item slot for a MF item* 4. Mix of any of the first three. *Someone suggested a figurine and I like that idea. Here is my take on that: There would be 6 types of figurines. 1 for each stat, and 1 for each double stat. So their implicit modifier would be to be +X% to find gear related to that stat. As any other item it could be magic or rare with up to 6 mods on it Some of the possible mods: - +X% to general magic find (lower value than specific finds) - +X% to waystone find - +X% to rarity of currency - +X% to jewelery - +X% to jewels (bigger value than most other mods) - +X% to weapon related to a stat - +X% to weapon type (staff/ bow etc.) - +X% to armor related to a stat - +X% to armor with mods for armor/ evasion/ ES - +X% to item with a certain stat (like resistances/ spirit etc.) |

Why would I want to play in a party where one can only have free-for-all loot or everything-goes-for-party-starter? I don't want to argue over who gets what, don't want to fight over loot, and I don't want to play with getting zero loot. |

" but isnt that just a better build? if build A functions better than build B with the same amount of stats then build A is a more effective build. i dont see why that is a problem with mf? if all choices have an equal outcome then choices dont matter right? the game is about making decisions that make you more effective. if build A is as effective as build B with half as much stats then it can use the extra stats to become more effective. if it does that through damage, defence or rarity it doesnt change the fact its more effective and hence more rewarding surely? I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
