It's been 14 days since I wrote to support. I honestly don't think anything else will happen. If something were to happen then it would probably be far in the future when it wouldn't matter anyway because I don't play the game anymore and I've looked for something else. It's really disappointing how GGG treats its players here and simply ignores them when it comes to problems like this
they went on vacation and accumulated loads of tickets to take care of so yeah unfortunately we are gonna have to wait a bit

I’ve read in this thread that some people have been waiting for almost a month for a response from support. And that wasn’t even during a vacation period. At some point, you just lose hope and look for another game to play. I’m not going to wait months to get help. I’ve been playing PoE for many years, with more than 1000 hours of playtime, and I’ve always thought highly of GGG, but this situation deeply disappoints me. Even if they eventually respond to the ticket, I’ve lost hope that they’ll be truly helpful or compensate us in any way for these struggles and the theft.
I’m open to being convinced otherwise, but they’re not even releasing an official statement or trying to reassure players that they’re addressing the issue. It seems like this problem is just being ignored and swept under the rug, while more and more people continue to fall victim to the hackers.

My story can already be found in full in this thread, probably somewhere on page 27, I think. But anyway, here it is again for you: I use PoE and poe trade site via 2FA Steam login.

At this point, the silence itself has become one of the worst answers for us. I believe it will gradually erode trust over time.
This exploit is catastrophic enough to a game to where you think it would have been addressed day 1....2....3....12..."vacation" or not. Not only has it not been address but not even a single word about it from GGG. Maybe disable trading? Maybe release a statement that they are even looking into it.
Nope nothing... Let's let the general public keep blaming the victims instead meanwhile people have proof of their stolen items on the official trade market.
I don't want to hear any blizzard slander from a Poe player that's for sure. The lack of care from devs regarding this is insane
There is no exploit though?
Comprimised accounts yes, no proof of any GGG related issues, in fact they have asserted its not on their end.
Do you guys understand that the process of being hacked goes like this
1. Account lock
2. You prove you own it and arent the hacker.
3. You finally get account back naked and start again.
No one here too impatient to get a reply from CS is starting again lul

If you are paranoid, you can try to lock your account when you log out
the idea is that you need to use a proxy to log in to the game or you can ask a friend to do it, this will lock your account and you will receive an email with the following content:
"Your Path of Exile account has been locked because someone attempted to log in from a location that you don't typically play from
To play again, you'll need to type or paste the following access code into the game client after logging in:"
this seems like abuse so the risk is on you
what do you think about this idea?
p.s. English is not my main language
Wil Suprise you... this hack bypass that method. the person somehow logged to my account from uk while im from Egypt.. how he did tat and why i didn't receive email from ggg good question.

What some mod on their end claims and what is the truth is 2 entirely differnt things.
Either they are saying its not their fault to save face / dont want to alert the exploiters / hackers.
Or they are oblivious to their own issues, in the long run it SHOULD be their ultimate goal to achive customer satisfaction, and with this weak arse security and potential loop holes, they are missing that mark.

Stop this shit.
i am not a Comprimised account.
Strong Passwort, Clean system, no Third Party , no Infectet PDF downloaded 8 month ago, no RMT.
And only use Steam 2FA for Poe and Poe Trade Website.
The most absurd thing is that one of these hackers was identified as selling all the stolen items from many of those affected here on his profile. And what does GGG do about it? They censor the perpetrator's name every time someone posts it and he continues to sell our stuff.
