My account was also hacked, (8/1/2025)
I went to university and left the game open, when i came back i saw a message saying like my account was logged in from another location. only my divines were taken (around 150), no exalts were taken (have 350).there could be other things that were taken but i can't recall (my characters were all naked as i was in the process of looking for a new build) from my friend's statement who was online at the time, my acount logged out, then logged back in, then accessed every character i owned, and then logged out. not too bothered by it, but i am just afraid it might happen again in the future lol. |

I got deloaded today !
250 hours played Logged in the morning everything was there i spammed like 30 dudes for breach tablet and precursor before going to work Just logged back from work everything is gone lost about 200 div steam client, didnt get suspicious connection emails using poe overlay 2 tragic af massive fail |

yes i traded at least 10 different dudes in maybe 30 min

no no no guys, you got weak password thats why we all hacked. But my friend change password after i got robbed with about 30 different digitals and still got hacked few days ago. Even if it's rat or smt in computer he bypasses it by generating password + added some symbols from chrome that not copy to buffer so NO ONE can keylogging or whatever else they do to hack this password. You guys should all get it right now, problem with hacking is inside game. Im will say again and again it's SessionID stole from trading.

But biggest problem not the hackers, support can't do simple things to secure our accounts and restore acess. That is looks SO AWFUL. I cant trust GGG anymore, people really waiting more than 30 days to answer. It's called holidays? Ok holidays over, 0 people unlocked since dec 6. Holidays will be forever since poe2 launched?

If you are paranoid, you can try to lock your account when you log out
the idea is that you need to use a proxy to log in to the game or you can ask a friend to do it, this will lock your account and you will receive an email with the following content: "Your Path of Exile account has been locked because someone attempted to log in from a location that you don't typically play from To play again, you'll need to type or paste the following access code into the game client after logging in:" this seems like abuse so the risk is on you what do you think about this idea? p.s. English is not my main language |
