this build goes up to 1.5mil dps on bosses, and can hit a 2 screen radius for mapping. maybe not this exact build, but warbringer totems can be incredibly tanky while pumping out 7 digit dps. mine has 87% block (turtle charm), 90 fire res, 55% flat phys reduction, 20% flat reduction of everything else, 3.7k life, enfeeble blasphemy aura, etc. i can tank a 10,000+ physical 1shot, if it gets through my 7/8 block chance.

people sleep on warbringer only because they're spoiled by 1 button braindead builds that need nerfing.

Agree with all of what you say and appreciate the defense.
I am only getting up to about 500k dps, which has been enough for all the pinnacle content. If you have tech that gets us to 1.5M, do please feel free to share--I am curious.

Really enjoying the build so far and am doing level 9 maps at player level 75. The guide is good and reasonably thorough. I took a decade break from POE 1 and came back for POE2. I don't know why some folks expect the same clear speed with every build, I enjoy the methodical nature of the build and chose it specifically for it.

I'm not interested in trivializing all content at lightning speed, those things get old fast and essentially those builds don't get to enjoy the game, instead they are focusing on making the game a non-game. Streamers and wanna be players can do those things.

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that your work has paid dividends for me and I'm hoping to get to level 90 + over the next few weeks. Maybe I'll try some of the pinnacle stuff, if there is time and I want to learn the battles. I still can't get over how common exalts are. When I last played the economy was very different, exalts were 30 chaos apiece, divines were a couple chaos, no atlas, no currency exchange, almost no crafting, etc.

Very glad you are having fun with it and that it is going well. Me too. Trolls gonna troll I spose. I have been having a lot of fun with the pinnacle content on this build. Xesht in particular is a good chance to use the active defense on Jade heritage to tank the extra-big phys slam. Feels good. As to the POE2 economy just convert POE1 chaos to POE2 ex in your mind and you will be pretty close.

Hi, thanks for sharing!
I've been looking for an off-meta (I.E not howa/archmage) build, and this looks pretty capable.
Just one question: I've hard that the last patch somehow broke totems targeting, is it true for this build or is it still functional?

They hot fixed it right away--all good now.

Havent yet switched to life build. Playing mana version at 87 and i feel cool running T14 maps. Desperately searching plus melee weapons...have one with plus 4 only. But all in all im pretty fine.

edit: it is truely challenging to get the attribute requirements on a plus melee weapon with soul cores and dex and int trippled.
transit to bm accomplished now...

Switched more in this direction after seeing your comment in the other totem thread. Kind of realized in hindsight that the Turtle charm branch was a trap. Feeling a heck of a lot healthier between wooden wall and Jade.

Definitely like speccing towards the resist node and blood magic instead.

I'd personally rate the Astral Projection support as A Tier rather than situational. Play becomes much safer extending your effective AOE to anywhere on the screen (and substantially off-screen), and MUCH easier to sustain since I find myself repositioning totems far less frequently. I think the theoretical DPS it loses compared to alternate supports is compensated by the virtually 100% damage uptime.

First, glad you are enjoying the tankiness of the setup.

As to Astral projection, it has become my go to (in place of overabundance) for any boss that moves--makes those fights dramatically better. But for ordinary mapping, I have to say that purely from a playstyle (as opposed to efficiency or safety) perspective, I enjoy the feel of laying down a totem with magnified effect, walking into the midst of a bunch of mobs in its radius and feeling them die around me. This is in no way an argument against the style in which you are using Astral proj. Just a suggestion that it may be a matter of taste. :>

Amulet and ring slots can provide most of the stats you need. Also, if you are not there already, the Polymathy cluster makes a huge difference.

Hey!
Im playing this build with the normal tree( https://poe2db.tw/us/passive-skill-tree/AAAABgYCf5dxmcWZ874qn9PlUJb2XBKgR9PYHimuc48VZ6TK0RMSwerIBsx8ormzqEKF7Mxjisn2Wb9rL9HXzEoRr4zMq_FbC9IZ6e4ndN21LBwKDxFa8lKEkxrYSBB1vcol15Yo6gSSPTc5Pq7zwCjJ47R9CH5LMamEz2H7u0Dy_Wa-gHuinpStdvAy_eNGBMqb99vSoXkpZuP7lWLgXHPJaV7D9JH0Igm7bg_71yEt01PjBTYP_wcVzG9MjqrTb7DYpShS1ayQ3tcmCWDt6FiPGk-toZMNdmnKfl1oZWBG7-EzE8TY9DahxhHDR_OFKjk_AXRsTn6gGYEWTuSgsTNImRfvAAA=) But im using Svalinn and Turtle Charm. I like to just have 1 weapon with +7 for more survivability and less hp cost due to the high skill lvl on totem with 2x7.

I'm considering respeccing to the other 96 tree with all the block nodes. Why is Jade Heritage preffered over Turtle Charm in that build? Im not quite getting the syngergy between Svalinns effect together with Turtle charm and block nodes, hence asking :) How would that affect my playstyle?
Thanks !

So,

The build in this guide is dual wield, not weapon and shield. I do not recommend the weapon and shield version because the damage is comparatively poor. Adding the second +7 weapon gives you slightly over 2.8 times the damage of the weapon and shield version. The 96 block tree is only for the secondary weapon swap. Because it is used so little in the main build there is not a lot of benefit to using turtle charm.

That said, if you are just more comfortable with the shield and do not mind the loss of that much damage, there is nothing wrong with pursuing it. It's just a different build that I have already tested and found to be not as much fun. ymmv.
