poe2filter.com - A PoE 2 custom loot filter generation website
Updates 16/12/2024
- Added the option to hide common currency. Hides Orb of Agumentation, Orb of Transmutation, and shards. Also, currency worth less than an Exalted Orb is shown a Drop Tier lower (e.g. white instead of yellow). - Moved copy button to a more prominent spot - Renamed 'Clear' button to 'Reset', and added a confirmation dialog - Switched to exact match everywhere (except for the safety catch-alls) - Bugfix: Setting bows as preferred weapon type no longer also shows crossbows - Bugfix: Focuses are called Foci Author of http://poe2filter.com/ - A Path of Exile 2 Custom Filter Generation Website

Thanks for keeping updating it!
Question, since I'm new to PoE, you added: If you're hiding Magic Items, they will be hidden even if they have a Tier. Therefore, after defeating a boss or rare monster, quickly check whether they dropped any Magic Item with a Tier. What do you mean "A Tier"? How can I check this? Thanks |
|
Anyway you can allow us to change the sizing for drops? Wouldn't mind making drops like exalts and maps a bit bigger.

" Yea, I know that's a bit confusing, but I don't know how else to succinctly explain it. This concerns the 'Tiered loot' introduced in POE2, which you'll start finding from maps onwards. You'll see for instance this on the ground: "Advanced Dyad Crossbow (Tier 2)" This means that it will have better mods. Goes all the way up to (Tier 5). This is what that remark is about: there's currently no way to detect this in a loot filter. Usually these items will be Rare (yellow) and thus always be shown. But if they drop as Magic (blue), they will by default be hidden. So after defeating a boss, quickly press alt or whatever your show all drops button is, to check whether any of these dropped. " Since this goes a bit against the design philosophy, where I want to stick as close to the default styles as possible, I probably won't be adding this soon. I might in a future version, in a different tab. For now, you could definitely add this yourself! In a future version, I'll add a way to add your own code to the top of the file, where you could do things like this easily. " That makes sense, appreciate the work! I'll have to spend some time and figure out how to do it. This isn't related to your filter but I really wish GGG separated item drop sounds from the sound effects audio slider. Makes no sense custom sounds has its own slider but default doesn't. |
|
I just checked. I can't increase the volume of the default drop sounds :(
The only thing you can do is *add* or *replace* the drop sounds with some other 'alert sounds', but I think they're really ugly compared to the real drop sounds (they don't sound like currency being dropped at all). So not much I can do. I agree with you: - A separate slider for currency drop sounds would be so cool. It's like the only thing (other than music & main) I'd use :). - Or a way to increase just the default drop sounds through the filter... They actually have 8 different settings for sounds, all but the only one that would actually be useful xD Hopefully they add that at some point... Yeah would be nice if ggg was doing their job and implemented some barebones qol features the game desperately needs, like ingame filtereditor, ingame price check tool, ingame trade interface that doesn't rely on a chat ui from the 90's and 3rd party programs to play the game properly and enjoy the features the game wants you to use.

" Not sure how you would price check, copy paste into trade site would be nice, but you would still need to know what mods to remove, and how those mods affect the price. For instance an amulet with 40% increased max energy shield 110 life 25 lightning res +x to whatever gem 2 empty mod slots is actually going to be worth a lot more than 40% increased max energy shield 110 life 25 lightning res +x to whatever gem +5 life regen a second 5 fire res Because it has slots open to exalt slam, and chaos can brick the item you are trying to fix. I see a lot of people in chat taking an item worth 50ex, then making it worth half that when they exalt it instead of just selling it off to someone willing to take the risk instead. The likely hood of making it worth more with good mods is like extremely low. |
