Every-time I try to sync the lootfilter using the website I get the above error when trying to load it in game.

Lootfilter does not work as a result.

This was fixed 15 minutes after launch (and, unfortunately, caused by incorrect information from GGG :/), refreshing the page and re-uploading should work. If it doesn't, you're getting a cached version of the website. Hit CTRL+F5 a couple of times to be sure to ignore browser cache. You should be taken to the Changelog page when you get the new version. If that still doesn't resolve it, let me know. I'd be interested in which browser you're using and whether you're behind a firewall or reverse proxy or anything which might cache the index; because normally that shouldn't happen.

I was skeptic to try something other than neversink's filterblade. With that said, I felt bad with every new league or new character having to set it up again there and go through all the customizations.

However, you instantly won me. This is incredibly straight forward and efficient and extremely easy to edit on the fly while I progress.

I am out of words with how you were able to cover everything with just a few editable options. I didn't think any thing less complex than filterblade's options would do the job.

i reconized that all of my custom highlight and sounds edits in Costom Cosmetic Rules don't work after the first one. in screenshot is displayed

that was not the case before 0.2 PoE 2

Hi, great filter. Is there a feature to use Cosmetics with Custom Drop Tiers to hide items, and change their visuals with it? I want to create something like this:

The goal is to hide and change font size to small, if it is a low level base item. In this way, when I Continue with the rules, I can still show the item if it fits the exceptions later on, and keep the small font so I'll know from the shown items which to prioritize. Currently I have these written in Free Rules, but I would like to use the Custom Rules for All Gear, so I do not need to update and copy the Classes when a new league arrives.
Dawn of the Hunt Economy data, Early-game Tiering Mode - v0.9.82 - 09/04/2025

- Manually updated the market values of all (new and old) currency items.
- Added all new uniques with their current market value on the trade website.
- Completed any missing new Currency stats.
- Introduced a new 'Early-game' Tiering Mode. Renamed the 'Strict' Tiering Mode to 'Late-game'.
- When setting a Progress Preset, this will now also change Tiering Mode.
- 'Late endgame' sets the 'Late-game' Tiering Mode, 'Early endgame' sets the 'Normal' Tiering Mode, other presets set the 'Early-game' Tiering Mode.
- Removed the 'Pinnacle Keys' highlight. Pinnacle keys are now treated in the same way as other currency, just like for example the Fates.
- Several fixes, especially to SSF tiering mode.
- When changing the filter name, you can no longer enter characters not allowed by GGG.
- Fixed a bug where hiding 'All' runes would prevent the filter from loading.
- Fixed a bug where Alert Sounds, Minimap Icons and Beams would not always appear for Custom Cosmetic Rules.

Hm, you should be able to create Custom Cosmetic Rules with those rules. Using the 'Advanced Conditions' (the 'Gear' icon), you can specify DropLevel and AreaLevel. You'd have to create (clone) one for 'All Gear', and then one for each flask type. Did I understand that correctly / does that meet your requirements?

If you mean that instead of hiding the stuff in the 'Hide Weapons and Armour' section of the quick filters you'd like to change its appearance (smaller labels): that's currently not possible, I hadn't thought of that. I could add that option, but it'd be a bit of work.

Or if you mean that I should add more auto-hide rules based on area level and drop level: hmpf, it's something I've been thinking about. I could indeed use that instead of the current 'Hide Gear by Base Type Gear' (or add a 'Auto' option to the select box), but to be honest, I'm not a big fan of such 'magic behind the scenes', I like to keep things explicit. I only made an exception for the flasks since that changes very often early on during the campaign and it's super straightforward and hard to go wrong.

Yes, a Cosmetic rule with partial set to true to simultaneously Hide and change the appearance of drops, and to Continue with other rules. You can see the items when you press alt, or until some other exception rule Show it again, so I personally am using this to prioritize higher level bases for no-thinking-gameplay. :D

As a visual suggestion for the implementation, you have on the left side for each custom drop tier and cosmetic rule a checkbox if it is enabled or disabled. You could replace it with some button with three rotating states (Show, Hide, Disabled).

While I do think you have the correct thinking process, personally I think you went wrong with incrementally hiding flasks by including a strict 20% quality requirement at the end, but maybe I'm the only one searching for better flasks with more lenient quality rules. :D I stopped at 10% quality.

If you decide to add the auto-hide rule, the 'Auto' would also fit into the dropdown menu. Actually to several other dropdown menus as well, like 'Hide Gear by Rarity', 'Hide Life Flasks', 'Hide Mana Flasks' and 'Hide Currency'. Would likely require quite a lot of refactoring. :D But if you decide to do so, you can probably be quite lenient with them. As in the way you got items tiered, you probably do not need to hide the Expert tier items even at T16 waystones, nor blue gear items before maps. They can still roll quite powerful for a new and old players, and we need all the chances we can get.

PS: If you do the auto-hide rule, make the font also smaller, it makes things so clear what to prioritize. :)

Indeed, this was a bug, ...


i got it. thanks to mention it was a bug. i just copied all my cosmetic filters and deleted the former and left the new copies. now its working as intended.
