I was good at sanctum in poe 1. at least decent. the 3rd trial is new impossible for me. let alone a new player xD. not to mention ultimatum needs a HUGE nerf again. both are really not good. please fix this so we can progress.

PoE 2 has had some rough bits so far as warrior, but sekhema 3 is the first thing which has genuinely got me close to a ragequit. I really hope they reconsider how these trials work.

Me, As a Long Time sanctum Player cant agree more.

WE so Not know, what the third Option will BE, but atm its Not really good how u are locked behind randomness to get ur ascandancy Points.


For example

The sanctum trial ( lost the Name ) IS so u fair and hard , starting at the second floor.

Why IS IT so ?

Yeah - No movement skills - slow Dodge role, that lock u in Animation and u still can get hit.

This Starts to become a big Problem, when u have to choose the negativ effect - more Attack / move / Actionspeed for the enemys
Than IT because unplayable.
This Mod alone, brick ur whole run. Because No movement or other escape mechanism. So u need builds that can damage Off Screen , Like srs or totem builds in poe1.

The Action Speed of all Projectile based monsters are to high. U cant avoid them by running or dodgeing alone.


Now lets Talk about traps. At the start of the second floor, WE get this towers with the little fireballs. These are wo Bad Designed. Ur Hit Box ist nearly as big, AS the rooms between the turret and the flying balls. u cant manouver correctly through them. And i am Not 100% Sure, U even cant Dodge role them either.


So the sanctum mechanics need easier acess to boons, movement abilities or a downbalancing of the Actionspeed of Most of the Monster (whole Game)
Or the sanctum mechanic IS No Option for 90% of the builds.



Last Thing. Why does the 3rd Trial even lvl with your Charakter?
This should BE capped Out at 65 or 68.
So people can Overlevel the Chaos Trial and get their Points this way. Atm u must save 3 to 4 Chaos trials at lvl 65. Dont Run them and try Them ar lvl 75 with better Gear from mapping.
That IS a Bad choice in my opinion.
When the top 2% also struggle to complete a fighting Arena Challenge Like Chaos Trial , Than Something IS really of ballanced.


The 4th Trial can BE lvl with your. This is the Last Pointer, so IT can BE Harder .

But its fine , its still a Beta , and WE have time . I think IT all will BE ballanced

having to repec your char and build it a certain way sucks for ascendancy. Like There's zero reason i shouldn't be able to clear a ilvl 60 trial at lvl 80+. like my 9k es is useless because I dont use armor or ele resist which reduce the honor hit. But I've been clearing maps 5 lvls over since i hit them. As a minion build with half my toolkit missing(specters and necro) it's dumb to keep throwing my self at it when maps are easy

Couldn't agree more. I am coming up on 80 in a few hours and I still refuse to head into the trials as a Warrior. Why tie in RNG for something that is 100% needed for player power.

I agree with the fact that if you want to keep this stuff, save it for the final end game runs for the big ticket items.
