Please stop making the game easier..

There are no possible comparison with D4.

- At launch this game is interesting and have a solid gameplay.

- At launch D4 was shit

Having a game which is hard and difficult as you go far in levels and content is good, very good.

When the first levels and the beginners progression is too hard it's bad.

When all new players will be frustrated and will exit, what about the trade? What about the money permitting the devs to add content?
no no. d4 at beta and launch was challenging and fun to play. If d4 was offered in classic form, i would go play that right now.

now it completely sucks.

i just dont want the same future for poe2, and follow in d4's footsteps.
Yes stop making the game easier, This is because a lot of streamers are saying overtuned because they cant just crank out content for views. I have not once had to trade or go back and farm for gear. Once i found a good setup, you know by playing an testing it is far to easy of a game. I can think of at least 3-4 builds that should be nerfed. In fact it is so easy its getting boring spamming 1 skill having to pay so little attn in the first week I have already cut back playing time.

ill endorse this post but the game is heading in a clear direction already. shame rly
the stubborness of ggg not wanting to have different difficulties. well, it was expected when you make such an expensive game.

btw : i would make bosses harder in exchange for mapping easier. rares and blues seemed ok to me.

reduce map size 30% at least
give ms out of combat. ramping up to 30%
give 0.5% damage vs white mob for each white mob dead up to 100%. you lose bonus when you die. (yes ggg we can do our combos 200 whites is enough for you ?)
bosses are 30% faster or sth/ maybe 50% unless it s a series of multiple strike where you have to do multiple rolls. in that case only the first strike is 50% faster.

STACK CURRENCIES FFS. instead of dropping 1 transmut here and there drops one time 3 and twice 0.

also make baby diffculty mode

Great satire, we're pretending POE1 doesn't exist.

Numbers don't lie. If they are seeing all the negative feedback and the player base is going down already, that is valuable information for the devs. I know some people might like it hard but GGG can't sustain this game off the 8 of you.

Are you sure about the numbers you are talking about ?
On SteamDB I see Friday 6 peak 459k, today 464k.
The point is (and i am on the team do not touch the difficulty or grind) the game now has a casual and mainstream audience so GGG will have to please them at least for a while.
The hope we can have is such audience will never engage with end game and will switch to next game very quickly so they will have to please the audience that want to engage a bit more, therefore potentially they'll have something for us in the mid/late game after the game cooks a bit.

For now we will have to accept the state of the game.

D4 had to follow the same road as the audience is mainstream however let's stop with D4 dead, as soon as they release paladin, they will sell another 10M copies minimum - they generate a Billion in revenue already

You won't kill Mc Donalds or Coca Cola even with a better soda or burger.
That's how it is.
When do people understand what Early Access means? There will be so many more changes coming in both directions. And i have all the popcorn i need!

Early access/Release numbers of players means nothing in ARPG and MMO world, only retention players counts.

Example - Last Epoch - next Diablo and PoE1 killer, peak 264,708 at release, next league 70k players, now 2k players.

Diablo 3 and 4 was the same, the numbers of players peaked at release, and then went downhill, Blizzard even put his pride in pocket and released Diablo IV on steam.

In PoE1 we have peaks numbers at the start of new league, but after 2 weeks, around 60% of playerbase still play the game, for some league only 40% playerbase remain because the league was bad.
