Please stop making the game easier..

Just please.
its day 3 and you already increased loot table drops, you already made some bosses easier, and you already made some difficult situations easier.

Who am i? level 99 hardcore in diablo 2, makes out hardcore in diablo 3, maxed out hardcore in diablo 4.

patches are to fix bugs, not to make a game easier.

im telling you.. theres a big player base out there that enjoys challenge, the more you make the game easier, we will stop playing because it will feel like a "waste of time" and would we would rather do something in our personal lives instead.

do not copy diablo 4's path. there beta was difficult, and patch after patch, it has turned into a "close your eyes and spam skills and win loot." i feel the same future for POE2. can we just have one arpg that doesnt listen to gamers crying about difficulty?

I will make a video and rant on my youtube channel 5lotham soon about this. Watch it to understand.

The game will change based on player feedback, as it stands the complaints about the difficulty are valid otherwise a large portion of people would not be complaining, and patches are not just for fixing bugs but also to do balance passes.

If you make a game that is far too challenging "which it currently is" then you will drive away players, at the end of the day it's still a business and they need to make money.

While there are a lot of players who enjoy challenge, there are way more casual players looking to unwind after a stressful day.
Seriously STOP MAKING THE GAME EASIER. STOP NERFING BOSSES. STOP INCREASING LOOT. STOP REDUCING PENALTIES ON PLAYERS.
The same casual players that you are trying to attract by making the game easier will only stick around for a bit, then move on to another game. they are not loyal.

its the loyal ones who will stick around. the ones who appreciate the grind and challenge of the game. they will play forever as long as it feels worthwhile of their time.

Look what happened to d4. no one is playing anymore, cuz by making the game easier, the loyal diablo fans said forget it, this is a waste of time. and they are all literally playing diablo 2.

just stop making the game easier patch after patch. fix bugs, fix crashes, fix gameplay issues, but DO NOT make it easier.
Im worried that when the game officially launches in 6 years it'll be D3 levels of zooming/item drops because of everyone crying game's too hard.
Well if they make the game easier it means you are a small portion of people who want to keep it hard.
the "majority" of players wanting to make the game easier will not stick around and ruin your game in the long run by leaving and playing something else.

diablo 4 should be your example. the same players crying about the game too hard, they are not playing any more and agree the game sucks.

another example. why is it so many players play world of warcraft classic? it is because the challenge is what they missed. and those same casual players also went back to world of warcraft classic.

there is actually one solution. if u r gonna make poe2 easy, offer a poe2 classic version on launch so the ones who want the challenge can play poe2 in its original, intended, difficult state. and at that point i dont even care if its solo self found.

Numbers don't lie. If they are seeing all the negative feedback and the player base is going down already, that is valuable information for the devs. I know some people might like it hard but GGG can't sustain this game off the 8 of you.
Doubt the people who quit are coming back.
Yes please, stop it
