Addressing your Early Access Post-launch Feedback

Loving the game and I've been taking my time so far.

But I keep randomly failing the very first trial but my health is full when it happens. It feels like a one shot but I'm over-leveled for the zone already and before it happens the mobs aren't a problem at all.
thank you
I'm sure they will give us an update once a fix is found it's EA there will be problems!
- AT Jimbo
I myself have been experiencing a few things that have been seriously bugging me and to the point of getting me very upset.

I am a level 17 Sorceress (NOW) I previously tried the Witch with this as well.
At Level 17, I am still stuck in Act 1 right at the, "The Executioner" for 4 days.
I died so many times I lost count. Is this how the new mechanic supposed to work?
Meaning, Am I supposed to only stay in act 1 for the entire season?

I really love the game, but I am not enjoying myself being stuck like this.

I sure as hell not progressing forward, but instead dying several dozen times, that I lost count. If I recall, I believe it's around 180 times thus far, as a level 17 in Act-1 at "The Executioner".

I also found myself having to press the skills button more than once in order for it to kick in.
When I want to use a skill, I am forced to make sure I hit the particular skills button more than twice in order for me to use it.
And no its not my keyboard, I have a brand spanking new mechanical keyboard.
And no its not my computer as my computer specs are as follows.

AMD Ryzen 9-7950X CPU
Gigabyte X670E Aorus Extreme motherboard
GSkill 128-GB DDR5 6000/mts RAM
AMD Radeon 7900-XTX GPU
M.2 Samsung 990-Pro
ISP speed is 1GB/s Fiber both ways.

So it's not my system whatsoever, if anyone thinks that because I am having activation skills problems, that it might be my computer. It's not.

Also, There are those specific players who want to play PoE like it's HC, and they want the same experience for everyone, no matter who they are, and that should never happen.
Just because some HC players want the difficulty to be 1000% because that's how they play their game or want THEIR specific experience with the game,
doesn't mean that everyone else, including normal non-HC players should be pigeonholed into this experience as well.

I don't mind a challenge, I really don't, it's fine, I get it.
But when someone like myself is level 17 and has been in Act-1 for 4 days straight,
trying to get past "The Executioner", but can't because the difficulty is turned up to 1000%. It kinda makes it hard to enjoy the game.

Not enough currency is dropping, NPC is constantly giving garbage gear if purchased, which wastes gold, and not enough currency is dropping, all while desperately trying to get out of Act-1, since I've been there for 4 days now as a level 17 character.

As you can tell by the long post, I am a bit frustrated.
Again, I don't mind a challenge, but when it's turned up to 1000%
how am I supposed to progress?

🤷‍♀️
Please remove the Honor System. Do not "fix" it, do not change it - get rid of it, completely. Please think of something else, or make it voluntary, not mandatory for the Ascencion.

For the first time since I started PoE 1 I felt like I am FINALLY really good at the game. I mastered playing my warrior.

And then there is the trial. Which I am drastically overleveled now. And still can't make it, because my honor-bar decides to randomly be empty.

I am sure this system is pretty doable with every other class, but with a Warrior the whole class revolves around the idea to be able to withstand damage, and to be in the middle of it, because you HAVE to get close-range. Which means, sooner or later, something WILL hit you, no matter how good you are.

And usually that is not a problem, and balanced rather surprisingly well. But as soon as Honor comes into play, all fun and all challenge is gone, and it feels like playing a super exhausting slot machine that randomly punishes you for stuff that is just part of playing your class.

Honor can not be based on DMG/hits taken. That will ALWAYS punish melee-players, which have a harder time playing the game anyway.

I am stuck and completely unable to solve the trial. While being able to beat every other boss. This can not be intended.
D4 should be shame and know what should D like game looks like. POE2 great game 2024

My guy, you are supposed to learn the boss mechanics... the executioner is extremely easy, you have to be close to him... thats it, melee distance even if you are a sorc

yeah, took me a while as a warrior, I had to switch to MoltenBlast with Martial Prowess support (faster attack), this way I could kill mobs at a distance

You just need to be level 60 with 5000 DPS. To complete an Act 2 encounter. Don't worry about it, it's totally fine; not a problem at all.

(Sanctum and Honour for an Ascendancy was a move that should get someone fired; you don't make that decision if you understand anything at all about gaming or about the player base)
