Where are my pathfinders at?
" You really should try Plague Bearer.... And probably Withering Presence. My tree: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/passive-tree/z530p033 Anyone see something wrong with it? Last edited by aDoreMe#3888 on Dec 10, 2024, 8:53:01 AM

" Very similar to mine. I think the main difference is that I went for Blinding Strike instead of the Low Tolerance node, although I am not sure how much +Attack Damage affects the poison ticks. I also don't know how much valuable are the +chance to poison on hits. I am also considering the Master Fletching node, since I recently got a quiver with +40% damage to bow skills Last edited by fabmoicano#1872 on Dec 10, 2024, 9:09:18 AM

Playing Pathfinder myself, but with a crossbow and grenades over the ranger's native bow skills. Currently only level ~40 (full-time employment sucks), but the build has been tremendously fun once the pieces started coming together. Running Assault is preem for weapons with lower overall mobility like the crossbow; between Flash Grenades delivering mass stuns to entire packs, Oil Grenade + Maim + Encumbrance delivering a ~70% slow to everything it hits, and being able to move with only a relatively minor speed penalty while firing everything off, the character can skirmish like a champ. My primary defensive layer really is simply not getting hit (bro) - most enemies can't reach me to hit me even as I DOOM-strafe around them to ball them up for the Kabumen, and projectiles are easy to Touhou may way around.
The Gas Grenade nerf hurts, but the character isn't as reliant on gas explosions as a bow character is since I've still got regular ol' Explosive grenades to chunk stuff with as well, and with +1 grenade projectiles from the tree and a Bombard crossbow to generate a third grenade on most of my shots, the sheer number of explosions compensates for the lower overall damage of any given explosion. I have not refined everything down into a proper build yet, only just picked up my second Ascendancy before I hadda pack it in for a while (50% more flask charges), but it's a really promising start. |

" I have a similar tree altho i'm earlier on being only lvl 34 - one change is that i nipped down on the right to the skill speed node, because toxic growth felt so incredibly slow and i kept getting punched out of the air before i could set up my combo |

Hey bleetal! Tia is for the tips. My question is. What do you have linked to these skills. … tocic / gas arrow / wind dancer? Thank you

You are further than me, I don't have T3 support gems yet, but I assume you have 5 support gems for AA with extra armor break damage?
Your build seems like it might be good for trash mobs, but bosses I don't see where your damage is coming from since a lot of your stuff is focused on slowing/stopping mobs. |

" I think i figured it out. I swapped more points away from dex and into projectile damage and the numbers are now doubled, havent tested it yet though. |

" Your tree link isn't working for me, just goes to blank page. |

Hi pathfinders, what a fun time has it been. I absolutely love my Pathfinder, just ascended today and started Act3.
We are a rare breed, there isn't many Pathfinder players or builds out there it seems. In terms of what I play: Skill passives: poison power ups, more stacks, and more poison damage and magnitude. Some evasion nodes too. Skills: Gas Arrow Toxic Growth Plague Bearer Rain of Arrows Vine Arrow I really love the feeling of blowing up the Toxic Growth pustules with gas Arrow. However, I am confused because a lot of people here use different support gems in different skills. Can I ask what are the best skill gem and support gem combos for the above skills? Any help would be appreciated! |

Does anybody know what the explosion damage from toxic growth comes from?
I had an idea to maybe try and stack attack speed so that using the skill would be a lot more playable, but if you need projectile damage instead of poison for it then it probably wouldn't be worth it. |
