Hi, how do I set Ice Nova to cast on frostbolt?

If you dont have enought mana or mana reg in lower levels you can perfectly play the same Cast on Freeze Setup with Frost Bomb instead of Comet.

Cast on Freeze - Frost Bomb - Spell Cascade - Magniefied Effect

Not so insane like Comet, but still great

You dont set it to cast on it, you can manually cast ice nova on a frost bolts location. It pops the frost bolt and casts ice nova there.

You should update gem links because unless it's a mistake what's the point of Inspiration on EoW ?

If anyone cares,
I removed some crit chance and spell dmg nodes to get me enough to go all the way down to Eternal Youth, picking up Chaos Enoc along the way.

The two jewel slots you open can replace most of the crit chance/spell dmg.

Obviously have to wait until you find a big ES armor but now I have 2800 ES + my life flask goes to my ES so essentially I have 2x more life than I did before and I'm chaos immune. Now you don't have to worry about recharge speed or start speed nodes. Plus being chaos immune now I can get rid of my chaos rings for more flat resis/mana/cold dmg rings.

Essentially I have more damage now too on top of 2x life.

is it worth to equip three dragons with this build?

Why would it be a mistake? Inspiration is there to reduce the mana cost of Eye of Winter by 40% because the spell costs a hefty amount of mana to cast. At the moment my Eye of Winter with inspiration costs 115 mana, without inspiration is costs 194. I'm saving 50 mana per cast.

I'm not sure to be entirely honest, that would require some testing.

So the idea of going with cast on crit means you can swap all your freeze build up nodes for more crit chance = more damage and potentially getting close to the same amount of cast as freeze did?

I'm at 120 without for now and it seems fine but gem level on wand isnt helping :D (im more concern about comet mana consumption for now than on EoW ^^)
