High CPU Usage and Low Performance in Path of Exile 2

bump, the same problem with ryzen 5 5600x
I play decent endgame ice strike monk and some maps look like slow motion to me, some work great

i5 8400 = 41ms;
GTX 1060 = 23ms;
~26FPS on map (Savannah) @1080p...
Total CPU Bound map.
Indoor maps like Abyss consume 3x less CPU... (~14ms)

Wonder if we will ever get a GGG response. i'm also calling it quits until the high cpu usage gets fixed, I have better performance spamming no cd vaal lightning strike in poe1 then playing certain maps in poe2 now...

I've encountered similar issue - my spec is R5 5600, RX6600, 32GB RAM 3200MHz and my GPU is at 100% (that's good) but my CPU spiking sometimes from 40-50% to almost 100% at some times. I should be able to keep stable 60 FPS but this game is not optimazed well for now. I hope GGG will fix it until release date because I don't want to upgrade my PC just for this one game. In POE1 I've this same issue with utilization of my PC - lag spikes, high GPU/CPU usage, if there is too much visuals on screen game is massively lagging. POE1 is already 10 years old game ... My PC is not that bad. Nowadays they don't make optimalizations.

same here.....high cpu temps and huge frame drops after the last patch update.

Here is a freezes, cpu load when i start playin is near 35% and jump time to time to 100%, after a some time cpu load gonna be higter and highter and comes to 75% all time and jumping to 100%, idk about temeperature but when cpu load jump to 100 i take freeze for 0.1-0.5ms and my GPU load fall to 0 and after frezee gonna 100% again. 2-3 times game drop me to the desktop, no resets, no stucks on loading screen. Changing Direct X 11/12/Vulcan repair the problem for some time but later i must changing it again.

I tested all settings options. When I used ultra settings or low settings, the CPU spiked all the time: when I opened the stash box, when I wanted to talk to an NPC, and when I used everything in this game. My CPU just spiked between 600 and 1000 ms.
I don’t understand why this is happening.

Path of Exile 2 has something in its code that makes a mess out of the game's core utilization logic. It causes freezes, hard crashes, stutters, lowered frame rates, CPU usage spikes.

Either GGG does not care or GGG does not want to admit their own code has a problem this big. They need outside help for this issue, because it has been 45 days now... With no fix in sight.

That's why, once again I ask anyone who encounters this problem to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner so that others will be made aware of the issue.
