Same happened to me. Finished the Ultimatum challenge, picked my 2 ascendancy points and while trying to leave the area, I got disconnected.
Now I can't login anymore since I'm getting DC'd constantly |

Unfortunately, me too, after completing the first ascendancy and putting points into a tree, got dc and can't log in. Other characters work fine..
