Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access
" same for me, and this fixed worked |

Okay so I was having latency spikes every couple of seconds, my game would stutter.
I have 9800x3D, 32GB DDR6000, RTX4070. My internet is 5G home internet with an external antenna. Weirdly enough I have no issues with this internet whatsoever, other online games work fine. I started a hotspot on my iPhone 16 Pro and connected to it from the computer, disabled etherned and voilá, no longer spiking. My internet source is exactly the same so idk whats up but doesnt seem like its ISP issue(same ISP), phone is inside of the house, antenna for the internet is outside. |

14700k, 4070ti have this issue also. Tried every setting and still the game is unplayable. Frankfurt ms is around 50-55 and it bumps up to 150-200 in boss fights or mobs.

Using a VPN fixed the problem from me. (kaspersky)

So as the title suggests it is ping latency not fps issues and therefor it makes at best little sense to change anything gpu or cpu related. I have around 200 fps.
Nvidia reflex also changes nothing when it comes to ping spikes and the resulting lag. We already identified the problem it's lag from ping spikes not bad performance of the PC! Don't turn this into a PC workshop. Makes no sense... Title: Continuous Stuttering/Lag DESPITE STABLE FPS... (I tested the suggested methods anyways with negative results. Just in case there is some fkry going on.) Thanks for trying to help though |

Same problem here. Really would appreciate if they could give us the predictive option. Hybrid and lockstep never worked for me, there is too much stuttering. I prefer smooth gameplay and the occasionnal rubber band to what i'm experiencing right now.

" Thank you! Whatever this does, it worked for me. |

" Spoke too soon. It worked for a little while but then they did some kind of update and now it doesn't. Lag spikes are worse than ever. |

I'm also experiencing this issue and turning off CPU 0 didn't work for me :(

Same problem here. Ping is normally 140ms. Spikes up to 500+ms every few seconds. VPN doesn't help.
Everything worked fine on Saturday. Last edited by Strill#1101 on Dec 8, 2024, 9:44:08 PM
