Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

This is just stupid they patched the game and broke something absolutely no replies to the thread that is now 80 pages long all about this same ongoing issue I really wanted to play over Christmas but that's not gonna be a thing now since this won't be fixed anytime soon

Maybe the aus players should just review bomb the game on steam maybe that will get them to fix it I dunno but at this point it's an unplayable mess with giant lag spikes into the 1000 ping range

load screens completely freezing pc's, constant stable 120 fps and 6ms, the numbers literally don't change, yet at the same time half of the maps in campaign atm feel like 6 fps and 2000ms. game 100% needed another 6 months before early access

To the contrary of what people keep saying now, "This new patch broke the game for me." I have been having this problem since day 1. It has not gotten better. This does not happen on any other process that uses network. I am on a 1gb fiber line. Every map i will have about 10, 5-10 second freezes where the network spikes upwards of 500+ ms and my character freezes, then catches up all my inputs in super speed after the lag is gone.

I am in Southeast United States. I have used mostly the Washington DC Server, but have tried every server I can. Texas server still shows ? for me when trying to register the ping. Please GGG fix this... or i guess im in the waiting camp for Diablo 1 and 2 developers new arpg... this is just so annoying.

Was fine until 2-3 days before
Experience stuttering occasionally, not playable at all.
All good with PC, just spikes are 30-150

I guess, not sure about you, but if they won't respond to it today, I'll be putting bad review on Steam until they do
Same issue.

FPS stable between 80-100 fps. Mind you ive wound the setting right back and im on a 3080.

The game slows down for a few seconds then gets real fast to catch up and i generally die. Its a lag issue, not frames, but my internet speed is solid.

Its killed me about 7 times today.....infuriating.

having the same issue since yesterday, before that it was working flawlessly..

constant ping spikes (the latency graph goes up and down like crazy), sometimes it happens in some maps, sometimes in the hideout, sometimes not at all for a short while

I've tried every EU server, same issue

my internet is definitely not a problem - checked it for the ping, packet-loss, speed, everything is fine, restarting router etc. didn't change a thing - must be on the server's side or some sort of a bug, please respond..

/edit:
it seems that I found a way to completely "fix" the issue for me - I had the Frankfurt server auto-selected, which seems to have these network and latency issues - after switching to Milan (probably others could work as well?), and making sure that the map/instance is indeed in the Milan server, everything seems to work great

make sure that you refresh the instance, since if you just switch a server and load back, any open instance like a map can still be in the old server, thus it will seem like nothing's changed.. (you can see the instance's server on the right side after clicking tab)

Adding my voice to the page count.

I tried the Networking .ini change, uninstalled the Nvidia App & lowered my graphic Settings. I am hardwired to the internet.
~100 FPS.

Southeast America on D.C. server since day one.

Previously smooth as butter with the occasional server stutter that I could live with.

The game is unplayable now.

Same issue.

Game slows down to a crawling pace, I still have control of my character in realtime but it is like playing in slow motion, then after 10-15 seconds it suddenly speeds up and everything moves at 10x speed. During this superspeed time I'll usually run a few screens in a fraction of a second and get wrecked by whatever mobs were waiting for me.

AUS based, but have tried NZ servers - no luck.

Issue only started with the recent patch, it was fine before.
I think there is an issue with minion and lag spike.

Here running around with 16 archers, you can see the lag spike on latency window :




Now i've set the archer to 0, running arround with the same patern, and surprise no lag spike :



Seems the servers can't handle more than 10 minion at a time without lagging.
