Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

Another Aus server player checking in.

Endgame maps seem to go between somewhat laggy in the off-peak hours, to completely unplayable in peak hours. Same issues as everyone else.

Have rolled a new char, and have zero issues in Act 1. Its very strange.

Frustrating, as was looking forward to playing over the Christmas break, but looks like it won't be fixed until January at the earliest.
Ok was wondering if this was just me.

The Aussie server was working great until the last patch. Hopefully they will fix this soon.

same: but this smells like byte stream loading synch issue.

What type of media is you running the game from?

May help to try make their own, controlled, (direct byte, stream, loader) on a asynch side thread.

No the issue started at thursday update. Didn't change my habit before and after.

It's an issue from GGG 100%.

And it's not lagging everytime, maybe 90% of instances are lagging. Sometime i achieve to have a stable latency on a map, but it's very rare.

The fact is that is seems to only affect maps, campaing instance seems fine, that why some people claims they have no issues

same for me since last patch i have stuttering some time its last for a while i hope GGG will do something about it soon
As an Australian player, my latency is only 6ms, but when entering the endgame new map, there will always be shader spikes, sometimes like bullet time, suddenly accelerating.
I thnik one of the issue comes from minions. In my build i have 16 skeletal snipers. With them I have big lagspike when they move, if i remove all of them the latency is stable
Wanted to chime in on this.

Since around the time of the latest patch, I've also had stuttering issues.

It's not all the time either.

Seemingly dependent on my instance, whenever I start combat, my PING will go from a stable ~25ms to unstable spiking around 70-90ms. The gameplay then becomes rubberbandy and unplayable

Happens as soon as I start using my skills / enter combat.

What's strange is that it's not all the time either. Either I enter a map and this happens, or it doesn't. The whole map.

It's even happened entering some campaign zone instances.

It's not multiplayer ping issue, as I am solo.

It's not my rig, this is a nearly new 4090 / 7800X3D / 32gb / SSD setup.

I've played since launch day without a single issue like this, logged about 125 hours without this experience.

It's absolutely jarring, and makes the game unplayable.

I've tried lowering my graphics settings and switching renderer, to no avail.

My drivers are up to date.

I've reinstalled the game.

No idea what else to try.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, evidenced by this thread. I hope GGG chimes in on this soon, as it's pretty substantial. It's a shame its right during the holidays.
Another Aussie player checking in.

All instances within the campaign (Act 1 - Act Cruel) seem to run very stable. Yet every time I load into an instance within the endgame the ticks per second seem to plummet. Being rubberbanded into swarms of mobs and one-shots is very irritating. The funny thing is that this issue persists in your hideout at times, so it is definitely not a system issue.

I hope GGG upgrades their servers soon. I'm sick of losing maps to this.
+1 another aussie here same issues. Thought it was just me for hours while trying to fix.
Also Australian, also getting unstable servers constantly.
