Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

This is caused by the Lockstep networking mode and we're unable to change it. Has been the same on POE 1. Make sure this thread and the others speaking about he same problem are always bumped, so we can have a solution soon, hopefully.

Same here, game is unplayable

Same here, ping jumping from 20 to 300/400. Internet is ok but i have to play on wifi right now. Maybe this is a problem. Speedtest shows aroud 20ms

Same problem! 10 ping in the city but IN ANY COMBAT ZONE it raises to 300+ with lagspikes and freezes! same sht when u change zone it can be ok or can start laaging and freezing again!

I've been getting the same stuttering and it made me not want to play. I confirmed my ping goes from a steady 20ms to 2-300ms during the stuttering. I just switched my network adapter on my PC to use the 2.4Ghz band instead of the 5Ghz band and I haven't had any stuttering in the last 20mins.

Networking issues aswell. Spikes like crazy and is unplayable despite having 200+ fps. The ingame chart is displaying a ping ranging from 30-35 and periodically 30-400+ ping corresponding with the lag. Tested in wlan and with mobile tethered internet. The average ping I'm getting in tests and other games is around 20-30.

they should do a refund. we paid for something thats unplayable. loving when i can play which is all of 5 min before crashing or freezing.
