Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

Performance has tanked on my system since latest update. It was not stellar before, but now it stutters even after an hour of playing. Tried every fix and trick I've found online. Very disappointing and frustrating

Game used to run like artwork on top settings w/out any tearing or GPU issues.

Since the 0.2.0e patch - even the loading cogwheel is taking many seconds to load. It's definitely under 5 FPS, in everything. The startup, credentials loading screen, character select, in game etc.

Didn't change anything other than the latest patch... :( it's literally unplayable.

Having the same issues. Will spike 1000+, but everything else on my network is completely finfe.

Every 10s getting ping spikes to 1k+, tried washington and canada, same shit.

Also something wrong with shaders since most recent 0.2.0e patch.

normal operation: i go into a map, cpu usage goes up and temps go to 85-95c, shader bar in performance graph maxes out, after i load in shader bar drops and cpu drops back to normal 55-65c.

Current operation: i go into a map, cpu usage high, temps stay at 85-95c, shader bar maxes out for like a full minute after loading in to the map, i legit just pause the game, watch stream on 2nd pc for a minute till the shader bar drops, then my temps drop and i can play.
I tried deleting/reseting shaders.

With these 2 issues combined its quite unplayable currently.

Unplayable lag spikes since latest patch. 35 ms spikes to 1000 as soon as monsters appear, internet is fine otherwise

why is it that at exactly 12am UK time its like some flicks a switch and the servers that have been lagging all day suddenly play smoothly.

This has happened for each of last 3-4 days

Happening on all NA servers for me. Sudden changes between running smooth and extreme ping (+1000ms). Only has been a problem since the last update. Played through full campaign right after 0.2.0 release and had none of these issues.

Highest ping for me so far got up to 25,733ms :)
