Mercenary stops shooting

Very frustrating when you're on a T10 map and this happens, you're surrounded by a swarm and then merc stands still doing nothing

+1, does the same with grenades but less often.

+1 on Pleb XBox...while reloading galvanic shards.

I have the same problem and it cost me plenty of deaths ... cmon fix it already it is very frustrating. The result of this is to re roll another character just to have a pleasant gaming experience. Fix the reload BUG !

Mine softlock occured when I got Glacial bolt skill with cold infusion and glaciation as Mercenary. Decided to try trial of Sekhremah, tested my new skill, reloaded it and that seemingly triggered bug
Initially thought that's the part of trial, but getting to the part when you are supposed to fill the chalice with rare mob essence put me down to earth.
Can only punch and use Contagion =(
PC if that matters.
