Mercenary stops shooting

same on PC, bad bad bad!

Im playing galvanic crossbow on a deadeye and its starting to really grind my gears. I constantly cant shoot for seconds at a time (yes its reloaded) and it seems to be getting worse as i get more attack speed. Changing ammo completely bugs out all the time and i keep dying cus i cant do dmg when i need to.

Definitly needs looking into. Its a shame because i started as witchunter then changed to deadeye cus the ascendacy is just better and now im thinking about going to bows cus i know it will just feel 100% better..

Same issue on Xbox. Is there a estimate as to when this will be fixed? Super annoying.

I know just because it's not on the known issues list that doesn't mean they aren't aware of it, but this seems like pretty low priority especially compared to the bug that's locking up people's entire PCs (mine included).

It's probably going to be a while before they fix this one...

I just switched to PS5 and there it seems to be more frequent.

I have the same issue, I am noting that I use click not wasd or controller for movement and I believe that may be part of the problem.
I also will shoot instead of moving without shift clicking.

geez its so frustrating playing xbow mercenary now. Please fix.

Logged in just to mention I've lost so many breach maps due to my merc refusing to shoot. I run the explosion shot build with 2 shots (1 extra bolt "in the chamber) and after a dodge roll, I have to actually roll a dice on the table to see if I will be able to shoot and survive the 300 mobs around me.

What I've noticed is that it's like a hairline trigger from a real weapon. Holding down the attack button makes it so much worse. Carefully and quickly tapping attack (not spamming) seems to somewhat alleviate the issue.
