PoE1 was too easy too.... I remember when the hardest enemy in the game were the stupid triple fire breathing dogs on the docks...

Just wait... ;)

Yep those dock dogs used to kill me quick. To this day I never figured out whether the blue flames of theirs are fire (because they are flame) or cold because they are blue.

It's a fire / physical attack not a spell looked into it extensively back in the day. And the main reason it killed people then is because we walked around with like 5 fire resist like morons.

As much as I don't like the day 1 balance, it is pretty consistent with the colouring for damage types in act 1.
The areas are level based, go grind somewhere if you're struggling.
The real issues I see with POE 2 are that they took everything people didn't like or want, then added it to a really solid base for a POE upgrade. What I mean is that in POE, how many of the player base actually liked or regularly used weapon swaps for endgame? How many wanted it? Probably not many. Then, in POE 2, they drew more attention to it, pushing the mechanic.

In POE, how many players were using Dash over any other movement skill and liked it more than the rest? Again, probably not many. Yet, POE 2 added a dodge mechanic—essentially just Dash—but now, why do I need this extra mechanic that only adds clutter? Is it fun or game-enhancing? Not to me. POE had the block mechanic, which I honestly loved and found overpowered most of the time, so POE 2 essentially removed it and added a gimmicky mechanic for more clutter, along with an Ascendancy to remove that clutter on Warbringer (so you can replace your clutter-bound key with something actually useful).

So far, after my 2 hours of playing POE 2, with crashes every 10 minutes and constant server issues, plus all my in-game settings resetting every time, I’m not too optimistic about the future of POE 2 atm lol. BUT I'LL KEEP ON TRUCKIN, afterall this is early access hahaha.
I am enjoying the hell out of this game.

you made poe just ruthless mode, i'm all for hard content however the campaign should not feel like fighting an uber
everything is better compared to poe 1 expect gameplay itself, gameplay feels extremely slow and boring and way too many boss fights that follows same pattern, dodge shoot repeat till boss dies
Also whats the point of stunning a boss if they keep casting shit you have to dodge?
The game just doesn't feel good to play. There's something with the inherent lag and the engine that just feels super janky. It's got the same messy feel as those later POE 1 bosses, like you don't wtf is hitting you and like the game engine wasn't meant for this.

man i dont know if i'm feeling this.

I think this is exactly how many of us loyal PoE 1 players feel. I have to fight my inner demon that hates Path of Dark Soul Dodge Roll playstyle, but my heart wants to love it.
Weird try to make mix of old good PoE and Dark Souls. Still good, but ironically just tons worse than original PoE.
