sounds like you're projecting—if it wasn’t a skill issue, you wouldn’t be so defensive about it. Sorry, but nobody here is going to side with someone who posts without offering any meaningful feedback or suggestions for improvement. Maybe see if you can get a refund and switch to something more your speed, like Diablo 4. Or perhaps stick to what you know, like Path of Exile 1

i've been giving advice for years and they did the exact opposite of what i and most of the community have asked them to do. we rejected ruthless and they made it into poe 2.

Please read my other reply about the skill issue cope.

challenging means nothing. dodge rolling until a boss dies is not challenging. it never has been in any game. it's just something asmon brags about doing to act like he did something skillful.

idk if i said the game was hard... hard means there's good mechanics and you have good gear and it's hard to overcome some obstacle. kinda same for challenging. it's just tedious. You're fighting a boss that does the same 3 moves over and over and goes invuln over and over and you're dodging the mechanics because it's just the same moves on repeat. or you get ganged up by 400 mobs in each zone. that's not challenging that's just bad game design.

i literally just watched raizqt get 1 shot, over leveled and geared by a monkey.

and i like how you try to insult me and then criticize the thread. more toxic poe community behavior

And 2 button and space bar on a 1:5 ratio is? With limited options and terrible loot drops. This is Dark Souls + Ruthless + Gauntlet X3 . All with mid campaign, areas, maps. It is like they took a backwards step to PoE1 circa 2018 with the bland items. This early access is likely not going to be 6 months, more like 18. And if they are trying to cram release into 6 months from now then it is a clear indication that the motivation is not to create a good game. What have they been doing for 5 years?

poe 1 in 2018 was pretty invigorating, and poe 2 is a dull grindy game with zero loot.

Yep it is shit, but atleast we still have POE 1 which I´ll gladly play.
It definitely feels like ruthless mode. I don't feel any dopamine by getting 1 alchemy in 2 hours. And overall everything is so slow :D

Also the skill system is complete garbage having to wait for the "correct" zone/quest to progresss your skill gem not to mention a lot of gems are not viable at all(for example if you start witch with minions if you don't get srs your other minions are pretty useless even with only minion nodes they can't survive anywhere) Or lets ask grenadeers how many "builds" they use :D. And the gem ui is not intuitive at all.
Also they have so many supports now simply because they split all suports into one liners which does not has any value :D
And the ascendacies are pretty meh in bonuses.

I got my staff in act 2 and this staff is probably going to be my staff even in maps with the amount of currency and items that are dropped. They said they are making uniques more useful but i see a lot of garbage uniques not useful at all.

Having the mobs respawn in the entire zone when you die. losing your loot is pretty annoying.

It's not a skill issue. I beat the 1st part of the campaign.. it's just bad. they force you to fight bosses that have more mechanics and damage than pinnacle poe 1 bosses but you just woke up on a beach with a stick... the pacing is awful

sure there are MINI bosses before mervail in act 1 but you have time to getsome power before beating her and if you take extra time you're going to get some gear.

in poe 2 you're on white gear or rare gear that has no good stats and you can't afford to buy anything lol.

then your skills do 0 damage which turns the game into dodge roll the game. dodge rolling is not a skill.

plus if it's a skill issue then ggg is not making the game to be played . they're making it to be suffered through


The only thing I'll agree with you on is the zone mob reset... it's miserable. I've loved every moment so far in the game other than the mob resets. I'm sure some changes in balance of damage as well with some of the mobs.
