POE 2 Bad
" This whole paragraph makes me want to bang my head against a wall. Your most played character is a lvl 80 SSFSC, you barely even touched the game. Why would GGG tap into the elden ring / DS playerbase? They have the best ARPG on the market (POE1). Makes 0 sense. POE2 is on a hype train, because of POE1. The only reason why POE2 has 578k steam peak is because of POE1 you absolute monkey. |

" You are choosing to throw out unsubstantiated semi-insults of me, instead of engaging on the facts. The fact is that more players are playing POE2 than ever played POE1 before, and I believe this trend will only continue. POE2 is a game designed to generate revenue, not the higest-average-playtime-per-player in a small niche playerbase. As for me and why I like POE2 more... My #1 game played is League of Legends, because it's hard (to climb the ladder). POE1 is too boring and easy for me. 1-2 buttton AFK gameplay. It's a game where build is 90% of the game, but you have to play that game in Path of Building becasue respecs are so expensive. Following a pre-built build is no fun for me, because then there are literally no choices - I'm on a hampster wheel. The only thing I enjoy in POE1 is the novelty of minigame mechanics. I can enjoy those just as much in Act 3 as anywhere else... it's just a minigame. So I played 500 hours of POE just coming in to play the league mechanic (heist is my favorite!), play it a bit for fun, then leave, because the rest of the game is not enjoyable for me. Because of POE2, I *forced* myself to play POE1 gameplay I don't enjoy to get to POE1 mapping, because I suspected after POE2 released, I would never want to play POE1 again. After playing both some POE1 maps and POE2 EA, I'm pretty sure I was right. Half because I don't enjoy the brain-off POE1 zoom-zoom lightshow gameplay, and half because POE2 gives me the ability to self-make builds and enjoy my own exploration of the build challenges in a rasonable amount of game-time without leveling 10 characters of the same class. Will I kill the final pinacle bosses in POE2 anytime soon? Unclear. Maybe, maybe not, but at least I'm not bored to tears of the combat like in POE1. I'll be honest, the biggest disappointment I have in POE2 so far, is that I already see top streamers doing POE1 style low-engagement builds like Warbringer totems, where they just walk around and drop totems and insta-kill bosses. I'm hopefully that this still translate to more engaging gameplay than POE1 does for me... I'll know when I get there. |

" These are the kind of players who often praise the game, which is odd to me, because they'll quickly abandon it. ✨ Beta tester Path of Nerf 👀 Last edited by spokipo#1869 on Dec 8, 2024, 5:28:19 PM

" If you poe 1 did not osililivayut, poe 2 and even more will not osilivayut, so do not give yourself the illusion, you are just a passable player who came in, played a little bit and left. ✨ Beta tester Path of Nerf 👀

" Funny, for me the worst, most pathetic, lamest and weakest immersion and dignity killing feature to ever grace gaming, is the idea of enemies not resetting on death. I hope it gone and never mention again. The games my wife plays on phone on the bus are more deadly and dangerous than that. It's an ultimate lawnmower simulator change the oil feature, I dodged it in PoE 1 ofc but it was still offending. Please let it die a horrible, lonely death and be forgotten forever. |

This sounds like some blue hair in the gym in january

Actually not resetting bosses and mobs is the most safe space feature in gaming yes

It really goes zoom zoom if you can get past A3. It's just the first 3 acts are so slow and challenging.
