POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

At this point the way i see it is that they are probably taking as big joke. I bet inside doors they are like "Let's see how much pages these suckers will make until we throw a bone at them."

In my head it's like that. Cause.....theres is no fucking way.
there is no rollback for 23h2 anymore.
even fresh install of 23h2 will update to 24h2

i dnt have pc freeze issue. My issue is i get disconnected in loading screens most of time. so my options are wait 2-3 mins for "logout" button or closing the game from taskbar and trying again.
problem is, if im in maps, i have to this at least twice because when i get disconnected i will be inside of my hideout. So i need try to pass two loading screen if i get disconnected once.
Stupid game thinks i lost connection somehow.

Likely situation they're facing: (i'm a software dev) -- not making excuses for their team, as this bug has plagued me as much as anyone, but figured I'd try to provide some insight for those of you who can't comprehend why this hasn't been fixed yet.

1: This is an incredibly difficult bug to track down. It's slow and tedious. You try something new to narrow it down/fix it, you compile the code (takes time) and then you run it again. But it doesn't crash every single time right? So it's not perfectly reproducible. This all just means it's difficult and more importantly, SLOW work. And while they likely have dozens of software devs, it's likely only a handful of them work on engine internals -- possibly just 2-3.

2: If the bug is inherently linked to Windows code or Nvidia drivers, etc, they likely can't come out and say it outright due to legal liability and even if not legal, they still don't want to harm their relationship with these key partners.

3: I guarantee you one or more of their developers has been working on this non-stop. When a software dev faces this type of bugs, it stays in your head 24/7 until you fix the thing. Especially when your app/game is used by so many. It burrows into your brain and will not go away until it's fixed.

4: Then why isn't it fixed already? See #1 and #2. It's very likely a combination of the work being incredibly slow + not 100% their code's fault, which just makes it even more complex and slower to solve.

Oh please. Save it with the sorry ass excuses. Some guy from the community made an uncasher that unparks CPU cores at loading screens and sets the app to realtime if it detects a crash - and that’s the only reason why I can play this game now. It saves me from half a dozen crashes a day at least. Might not work 100% for everyone but for me it’s been 40+ hours with 1 crash and I was able to kill the app instead of hard resetting the PC. This guy did this on the third or fourth day the game was out. If you haven’t tried this, I couldn’t suggest it more. But the fact that this guy did this in 3 days and GGG can barely talk on the issue is nothing short of disgusting.

This game is phenomenal but I have lost all respect for these devs. They pride themselves on transparency but ignore a portion of the player base that spent money and can’t even enjoy the game, hiding behind their positive reviews and reputation cause quite frankly that casts a shadow over the way they have handled this situation.

They have massively mishandled this issue and it’s unparalleled compared to anything even blizzard, Ubisoft, Bungie, activision - the greediest of devs in the industry - has ever done. If this was Diablo 4 there would be all sorts of negative press surrounding the game and fanboys would be trashing it at every turn.

Thanks for sending over your dxdiag outputs.

We are still very aware of this and appreciate your extended patience.

LOL what a guy!
its been over a month and a half of waiting for this issue to be fixed which is really disappointing to see I just hope the wait isn't that much longer so I can finally sink untold hours into this game.
Just started diablo 4 season 7 and it feels so good to play something that doesn't freeze my PC and runs smoothly.

THANK YOU BLIZARD, GET FUDGED GGG!
For those with AMD CPU's, how many have Ryzen Master installed?

I was getting an error related to Ryzen master every time I had a freeze. After jumping though hoops to get it off my system I havnt had a single freeze. Still get the rare CTD though.

Your mileages may vary.

**ASUS Zenbook Duo Laptop, i7 155h, 32gb, 1tb**
I played for a month when EA went live with no issues, then after updating to Windows 24h2 I encountered this issue. I reverted the update and the issue went away entirely.
To anyone saying this is a PC/windows issue, why are linux and pc hard crashing?

this is not a windows issue
this is not an nvidia/amd issue
this is a GGG engine issue.
the same bug was in poe1 less frequent, but there.

they didn't know how to fix that one and it plagued the game for years and they were silent on it then too. this is outright disgusting fuck GGG

to anyone who can't get a refund from steam or GGG because they're being scummy about it, call your bank and get them to reverse the charge,
