POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Hello everyone i have discovered a new fix. For your nvidia graphic driver, download the studio driver as opposed to the game ready driver. The latest game driver seems to be the main reason behind this issue. The studio driver is a less current but more stable release.

I also have Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling disabled (not sure if this is necessary).
Also maybe try setting renderer to vulkan and capping at 60fps.

The game is no longer freezing my system. I hope this works for others.

Probably to do with having to repeatedly Power Off your PC to escape the complete lock up freeze.

That guy has a weird belief that we must blame manufacturers instead of the software developers when a component is bricked.

He's correct about manufacturers selling bad products and they should be responsible.

But in this case, there is nothing manufacturers can do. Even the best hardware would fail with enough attempts. And GGG's Path of Exile 2 is providing ample opportunities for these attempts to happen.

Not blaming GGG in this case is like Iran not blaming Stuxnet and its creators for their hardware failure when the worm bricked their nuclear centrifuges.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.

I already changed my review to negative. I was really looking forward to playing over the holidays. Soon I have to go back to my wage slavery job and I am still on tier 3 maps. By the time I get back they will have done more pointless nerfs to my build or to Rarity or other crap that isn't important.

Hello people, i have been having some system stability issues for some weeks now.
I think i have found the cause after running memtest and it fins one of my 16GB of ram givving errors.
Happy out to have found the isue i then started having system lockups while playing poe2 , full complete freeze.
So when i found this thread im somewhat more relieved but id like to know if anyone else has like a stuttering sound as the system lock happens?

I would really appreciate if anyone has this isue might put my mind at rest.

The PoE uncrasher streamlied what I do every time I go into the game.
No crashes with the app for me on a 7800X3D

Just coming back to reconfirm that the PoE Uncrasher app has prevented all PC freezes for over 60 hours of playtime. (I do not run it as admin -- if it ever does freeze on a loading screen, I just end the PoE process in task manager, which is extremely rare)

Today I accidentally forgot to open PoE Uncrasher prior to booting up PoE2 and my PC completely locked up again.

So ++kudos to PoE Uncrasher dev!

99% of the time when I have these freezes, it's in the hideout. I now use the ziggurat refuge and it doesn't bug anymore.

+1 for me as well, just got 7800x3d :(
damn im sad

I think I might need to go outside at this point. Maybe if I shovel the lawn I can touch some grass. I don't know how else to cope.
