" For me its not BSOD, it freezes, and it does not occur on Windows 10 or Windows 11 23H2, only Windows 11 24H2 have this problem. Also i have Artic Liquid Freezer III 360... you like cant get better cooling unless going open loop. |

" To bad that its not a nvidia problem, it's a Windows problem, more specific a 24h2 problem. |

As said many times, this is not even a Windows problem. The same lock up occurs in Nobara.

" Well, neither GPU nor CPU have nothing to the problem, but NV KMSs and the entire driver architecture probably do (this is the reason why Linux systems also affected). They didn't specify the exact date, but it will be in January. Just be patient, we'll see. Last edited by cursorTarget#1174 on Dec 24, 2024, 7:06:24 PM

I tried a couple of solutions, but they were not very successful.
That is, until I took a closer look at my Windows 11 Pro updates. It appears that my system upgraded to 24H2 a couple of days ago, and since then, I’ve been experiencing crashes and total freezes on loading screens. I rolled back my Windows to 23H2, and so far... fingers crossed, everything is working well. Here’s how to do it: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-rollback-windows-11-feature-update Hope this helps someone! DrQxR |

" 1 week so far, no crashes (had daily crashes until fresh installing 23h2). Still waiting for official fix and going back to DX12. |

I've gone about 10+ hours with no crashes now, and I'm not sure what changed. The only thing I've done recently was undervolt my GPU. I have no idea why that would affect the loading screen crashes, but figured anyone that wants can give it a try and see if that helps you.
