POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Ok, so which brave soul with a Nvidia GPU wants to install this and let us know if it fixes anything with POE2?

Nvidia employee replied that poe2 fix will be in next driver release. Looks like January release 🤣

Can confirm turning off hardware accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows settings has stopped the locking up completely for me after playing for 45 minutes straight. Can't say if anything will happens after a few hours but no crashes/lock ups yet after having them since launch basically. CPU is Intel 10th Gen and GPU GTX 3070.

" So far this has fixed my game!! Just loaded the game several times and went back and forth between areas many times and no crashes. Also another thing I noticed with this driver is that when using poeuncrasher, it will still park cpu cores at the loading screens, but it's not having to go into real time mode to recover my PC from freezing. Pidge2k (Nvidia Forum Representative) claims poe2 crashing fix in January driver release. For now, there's https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher "For people who still experience the game (but not their PC) freezing after using this tool, run it as an administrator and it will attempt to recover PoE by setting the process to realtime when it detects the game freezes. After the game recovers, it reverts it back to normal priority." |
