POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
" The problem that people payed money for playing early, if I knew that problem exist, id never pay a penny for an app, that potentially risk my PC, and of course it's not my problem to find workarounds for this. And no one asking something supernatural, at least one message that we looking at it, maybe the problem not easy to fix, need to wait, you know, at least know they really doing something or at least respect us. For now we have only one message in priority issues, which hangs right along "sometime not working teleport", its a joke. |

Okay, I think I found an actual fix. So setting the affinity of PoE to disable the first two cores will prevent your computer freezing, but PoE still gets stuck in a loop at 100% CPU without being able to make progress. When this happens, you can set the priority of PoE to realtime and whatever it's waiting on is then able to get scheduled and PoE unfreezes. You should then change it back to normal priority when the loading screen si done.
The new version of PoEUncrasher detects PoE freezing, and then does this to unfreeze it, resetting it after the loading screen automatically. The new version is up at https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher/releases/tag/v1.2.0. Note that you will need to run the program as an administrator for the unfreeze feature to work. If you don't run it as an administrator, it'll say it's setting it to realtime but Windows will actually set it to High and PoE won't unfreeze. Hopefully this works for others! " This has been incredibly baffling to me, why don't people post negative reviews on Steam to get the devs to do something. There were games that got negative reviews for less, but somehow PoE gets a pass. Even in early access, the game should be in playable state, which clearly it is not. This whole situation is just mind blowing, I don't believe they didn't catch this freezing issue during testing (hope they did test it at least), so they must've knowingly decided to release this before Christmas, reasons being obvious. And all the people finding miriads of sketchy workarounds instead of demanding a fix from the company they gave money to for a product that doesn't work, I have never seen this kind of behaviour before. GGG should at least offer a refund to everyone who has been affected by this. They can cash it back later on MTX anyway. |

Investigating cases where some players experience crashes related to Multithreading and have to restart their PCs. This seems to mostly be for players with the Windows 24H2 update. |

" I shit you not, I tabbed out to view updates to this on my 2nd monitor, and when going back in to the game and going through a portal, instant-freeze and my CPU died and had to be power-cycled. |

Man I had zero crashes until the recent patch, now i cant load into Utzaal without my pc locking up completly. This is fucked up.

" It has nothing to do with a specific windows patch. I do not run this version, a magnitude of people have said they do not run this version (or this operating system, people on w10 have the same issue). |

I sent GGG troubleshooting an email with regards to crashing a week ago. Got a response today that basically said go fuck yourself
