POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Guys, I understand we’re dealing with this issue of computers freezing, but it’s not our responsibility to fix it, roll back Windows updates, format the system to an older version, or anything like that. It’s up to GGG to provide a solution or at least issue a definitive statement. However, they remain silent while everyone here is frantically trying to solve something beyond our control.

I posted this yesterday for someone to try. Didn’t have the time to do it myself.

Rolling back the Windows Update 100% fixed it unlike fiddling around with renderers over and over. Windows is absolute trash confirmed, looking forward to Steam OS in 2025. :)

and for the 1000th time it may have fixed it for you but many people rolled back the update even a bunch of updates back and it's still happening. not a solution.
I'm tired of finding out the solution. I'm not paid to do this.

You paid GGG to be a beta tester.
Alright fellas I am not too certain if my issue is the same as what has been discussed. When I tried entering a new map, the game crashed and forced shut, however my PC was NOT frozen.

I realised I did upgrade the GPU driver AFTER the game has been played. I went into Steam client and under the POE2 game property, "verify game file" (or something along the line) where it found 6 files to reallocate. It fixed my issue after that.

Again not 100% sure if these are related or working for you but worth a try.

It is the same issue. Mine is not freezing either, only crashing to desktop every single time I get to a loading screen.

However, I verified all game files 10 times now. All in order, but crashes remain.
Guys, drop the game and wait for the fix, stop messing with your pc. My solution was: started a new char on PS5 and waiting the fix to get back to my witch on pc
By sheer coincidence I did a dual boot install a couple of weeks ago, and am now playing POE2 comfortably and stable as fug on my Linux Mint install instead of Windows, where I also experience this crash. Which is kinda ironic, because I didn't intend to use Mint as a daily driver for gaming, but I am getting there tbh.

Why are GGG silent? Does this mean that they have no idea how to fix the problem?

Ever tried solving a complex problem involving various HW configurations as well as OS configurations. You dont have to actually answer lol.
